Like everyone else I've decided to let mine get empty and fill it up full to work out the MPG,

Normally I don't let it get much below the half way mark cos I'm weird and like to see it pretty full lol.

Anyway, tonite it was almost empty, (the beep when the orange light comes on still scares me) so I filled up at Tesco and it came to a grand total of £50, When I bought the car £35 was about the most I could get in the tank.

But it will be interesting to see what the MPG is.

Out of interest does anyone in our wee non cupra club have proper trip computers that do the MPG and all? or are they more of a Cupra thing.

get a pro breaker bar from halfords and save the recipt. attach the breaker bar to a socket on to your wheel bolts. then drive forward. (make sure that the front of the wheel is pointing straight!!!).

this seems like a bodge but it dam well works!!

Went to halfords today... and 3 out of 4 people working there that I asked about breaker bar didn't have a clue what i was on about! i had to describe it to the 4th one then he remembered what one was... then turned out it's out of stock (as are most things at my local halfords when at uni! is shocking!)!!!!!
Seriously, where do they get these people from? If you know nothin about cars and stuff you shouldn't be working at a car parts shop!!!!!

Where I live we always call the chaved up cars 'halfords cars', as it looks like they've literally just had a crash into halfords and every bit of plasticy bit and every flashy light and an exhaust which is 20 times the size of the car and sounds like ****, has just been stuck onto the car!!!!!

Also, has anyone else found that if you go to halfords they know everythin about a corsa, nova, saxo, 106.... all the chav cars... but know nothing about any decent cars, for example, our mighty ibiza's!!

....sorry, rant over :D i needed that! lol

yup, well it IS halfords... one of my mates friends used to have a complete chav 'halfords'car it had everything from 5 dvd screens, 2 ps2's, DVD player, under / in car neons, blue led washer jets.. etc etc etc.. it was hiddeous... to top it off though he had one of those big ironing board 'wings' on the back, or a front wheel drive car.

well not going to defend halfords but i did work there for a year, and have to say our store was pretty exceptional by the sounds of it. We had guys on the parts section that knew about parts a few of which restore cars in their part time. Me and a few other non chavs on the "chav" section and people who knew about bikes on the bike section LOL

its probably turned to pot now but i have to say i think ours was pretty top if you came in and needed something. We used to laugh at all the chavs that came in and to be honest didnt really give them the time of day when they came in asking about £50 universal backboxes, or undercar lighting and such. But then i do agree most of them are utter crap and expensive!

its just funny the **** that people buy to make thier cars look good, but its all just crap lights and easy to do things that 1000000 other cars on the road have done i hate the led lights thier really do look so bad why would people do that to thier poor cars, i bet they get some stick for it tho. also screw on spoilers on polos and saxos!

True. That's why I got my beeza. Not common as muck. Was only me around town with one for a while, then I met Ravey (works at JBS) wi his cupra. So was basically just us 2.

Now there's a a lad who has a mk2, and a lad wi mk2 cupraR.
