Hi guys,
Ive got a 1.4 Mk3 Sport, the only mod is has is cupra wheels and tints (which i hate). im not plannin on doin anything to it as i dont really see the point, it not a particularly fast car, especially if your used to cupra, scoobs etc. im gonna save the money and jus buy a cupra next year. probably stickin with the mk3 as i like the shape of these and dont particularly mk4's.
only thing i hate about mine is the crappy standard radio and im not puttin an aftermarket one unless it replaces it!!

Hi adam! Yeah, the Mk3 does look a lot better than the Mk4! Nowt wrong with window tints. I have limo on rear 3 and and 50% on front
aren't professional tints expensive btw? I always thought they'd be a comparitively cheap mod but i gather they're not.
best thing to do is have a sub and amp (look in my sig for help). i also i installed new speakers and amped them, makes the sound system very good, and keeps theifs away because everything looks stock.

Chris: My mum paid for mine as a Christmas present other year. IIRC they were either £210 or £260.
There's some places that do it cheaper than that now I think, and it's hard to find places that will tint the fronts. Round our area, the two main places are Spire Tints and Direct Tints
Spire tints will do rear 3 and a sunstrip
Direct tints will do them all (however, they have a limit of 50% on front)
There used to be a white scooby around Sheffield with Rears and Fronts all done in Limo! WTF!?!?!

I tried self tints when I first got the car, £50 from halfords. Drivers rear quarter = 1 bubble, passenger = couple of bubble, rear window = **** me!!!
Asked window tint guys about this, and they say the quality is usually crap on self tints

hey non cupra owners, i only just signed up to this sight 2bh i think its great. i unfortunatley don't own a cupra as i am 18 and insurance companies rape me for my 1.4
lovely car though its dragon green, all totally standard apart from the speaker as i don't really have a clue (shamed i am shamed)
