Rather than work on the car today I took it for a little run.. Daventry to Hitchin (Hertfordshire) and it seemed to run faultless just lacking a little boost.. So well that it returned much better than expected fuel consumption!

Went and saw mc funbot last night who confirmed my VAC pipe work was correct, so isn't the issue with boosting..

Arrived at his house last night and my car decided to start smoking!! Looked like a fair amount of oil getting into the exhaust. Of course I thought the worst but looks like it may be the PCV so I ordered all the bits to install a catch can last night and delete the PCV..

mc funbot has a wealth of knowledge on these 20v engines! Gave me loads of advice on bits to do and we talked about my K04 Upgrade too!

Had a look around his beast of a car.. Man, that's something! Very impressive and very well built!

Found some dodgy wiring on my N75 valve -

Repaired that and things seem a little better! Luckily Range Rovers use the same connectors making this a really easy repair haha!

Plans are now - Remove & blank what's left from the SAI - Does anyone have a space blank I can buy or know where to get them from?
Remove the carbon canister
Remove PCV & replace with catch tank
Install FMIC & forge hoses
Install K04 Turbo set up
Fit bucket seats
Fit harnesses

Probably a little optimistic as the first track day I have booked with friends is May 13th.. Better pull my finger out!

So was home all of 10 mins before I started multitasking.. First time cooking dinner and working on my car at the same time!

Thanks Phil! Just getting on with it around work & family!.. Pulled one of my seats out today to see how I can mount these.. I could bolt them straight to the floor but they'll sit too low. Is there any subframes that can be used to mount bottom mounted seats? Doesn't look possible to get the standard seat subframe off and swap them over!

I like low too but the universal frames these have come with are 4 bolt pattern & on the floor.. Ibiza have that annoying metal ridge in the floor they need to sit above?.. These are bottom mount not side mount so can't go with you suggestion??

Bargain you got there bud, will definitely come into its own with a little tlc and knowledge. Good to see people still actually building these, see too many being broken for parts each day

Ah ok, best place to get one from Chambers?..
Stuck between weather to stick with my K03s and aim for 230-240bhp pushing it to it's limit or fit the K04 set up I have & keep it at a reliable 240-250bhp with scope for future upgrades... Thoughts?

No further updates today as had to go back to my old house and finish moving stuff out! Loads of stuff to do, not enough time to do it!!

Some more new bits arrived over the weekend..

Next things to fit are oil catch tank to delete the PCV & a rear wiper bung as someone used tape before!!!

Will update pictures later.

Struggling on the seat mounting front. Anyone fairly close to Daventry or Coventry with access to a welder? Really want to get these seats in.
