Nice to meet you again tonight mate

As promised here are the logs

I would diagnose it as a definite boost leak, with it shooting rom 1.3bar, down to just over 1bar etc then back up again

although oddly enough, it appears to be meeting requested, but requested at 1.1bar is quite a tame map:confused:

I couldnt spot any loose pipes straight away also

and thanks for the Polish beers, I look forward to those this weekend!

I hope you enjoyed the ride in the car....since then I have a turbo whistle and a loose pipe somewhere

Thanks for logging tonight Tony ! It was nice seeing you as well.

Yes. I'm undoing everything tomorrow and I will try to re tighten all the hoses and clamps. Too bad i cant really think which one may be causing this.

Yours was damn fast ^^ all the rev range on every gear - impressive :D
haha sorry for the boost leak - i guess im cursed !

Greesha glad that you decided to go with that FMIC kit and the honeycomb grille, you've fitted them very nicely, very unusual to see that setup on a pre facelift bumper. Really smart :)

I hope you get the underboost sorted, strangely I have got mine booked in on Thursday for Will @ P Torque to look at leaking boost on mine, it goes to 19 psi then drops to about 12, mpg is pretty bad :( Still managed to blow a 225 TT away though the other day ha

Kineticz i must say i like this setup a lot on prefacelift bumper hehe. Hope you get your leaks sorted!

I've redone all the clamps on my IC setup and took it for a spin. Still felt weak. As i had no more ideas i bought new MAP sensor and i think it has sorted my car out. I can definitely feel the power - still not sure if its 100% healthy but feels better !

Maybe its me but i think it feels weaker. We we will see tomorrow on AMD RR day :p. But if its not running well then i have no idea how to sort it out. I'm 120% sure that all clamps are tight. Maybe n75 got damaged during install? No idea. Maybe tomorrow somebody will advise me something if it won't run proper power.

Looks really good, did you have to modify anything to get the grill to fit, if so what ?

Spend hours today fitting intercooler on mates ibiza, what a mission most the time spent modifying his bumper !!

Well quite ok. Its just a stage 1 remap after all. Although i'm quite disappointed in torque loss. I guess that's why i have this strange feeling that car doesn't pull like it used to :<

Can it be caused by FMIC install? Map doesnt work very well with larger IC ? No idea.

Its 230/220 lb/ft now - it was 241 on totally standard car (even on plastic DV) :p

225 hp is rather optimistic as well :p

Opinions?

:p

EDIT:

It looks like power didnt stop to go up at at the end of test, maybe i could get some more hp out ? hehe

really liking the front end Greesha, may be tempted by the honeycombe grille myself. How much was it, and did you get it from a local dealers or from Sere motors?

Jonesy i asked local dealers for a price and then i've asked David from sere motors for a price and it was quite a huge difference. Seremotors much cheaper. Altogether with delivery and cupra badge it was around 55 - 60 quid ? not sure now.

I'd say you should have more torque with the FMIC not less?

Even unmapped mine was a lot more torquey.

Figures don't look to bad tho? 225 is very good for a stage 1?

Torque is way more important than BHP :<. And after all those mods i have lost torque which is quite sad.

Hello.

I read a post that you have bought some OzTitans. Are they fitted yet?
Would love to see some pictures if so.
I would like a set of these and refurb them to anachrite.

Brilliant, thanks for that.

I'll keep an eye out for your pics.

Did you buy brand new or second hand?

There are some 17s on ebay 2nd hand but dont have centre caps. Think these cost about £80 for the caps.
