Not yet. I left car in the garage till Wednesday. I'm off then and hopefully can finish everything. I need to get some electric hacksaw to cut off all the foglight plastic fittings off the inside of the bumper. Looks like an awful work to do manual. Need to call few friends and get something like that.

But i was already driving the car around town without the bumper on and everything seems fine :).

Uhmmm... pretty much yes.

I've no serious mechanical experience. I'm pretty much IT networks guy working in a leisure industry but i still managed to do it ( and it works!) so i guess most of ppl can do it on their own.

I'm putting bumper back on tomorrow as i was working most of day today and yesterday and had no time at all (i still have to trim plastics inside the bumper).

Everything is back on car. Bumper on. Unfortunately i can't get left foglight grill back on car but i will sort it out later. Definitely too cold to do anything with car now :).

I've got strange feelign that car is not as fast as it used to be. But im not 100%sure. I have no vagcom to check. I guess i will have to wait till AMD RR day :/.

Honeycomb grill fitted as well.

As you can clearly see FMIC is not straight! That is making me mad now. I really DO NOT want to take bumper off again. Its too damn cold. I guess I will have to leave it like that for now. Also i can't put left foglight grill back on the bumper (IC pipe in the way - just a little bit). I will try to rectify all of that when it gets warmer.

:(

If you have correct tools its not too hard. You just have to cut off a lot of plastic that comes with the gril. It comes with a whole bar under the grill. You need just to look at your old grill when you take it off the bumper and try to make a same one from the new one :). I actually used an angle grinder. ^^

You also need to file sides of the hole for bonnet release lever. I kinda overdone this on the inside/bottom and now my leaver hides inside the grill and i have to manually open up the bonnet ;-). Of course i will sort it out when it will warmer :p

Thats what happens when a noob tries to do mechanics.

As i have kinda overdone things yesterday/today at pub i woke up at 3pm ;p. I was way too tired to take off bumper today but i have undone all easy accessible pipes of IC and redone them again. Car feels better but i'm still not 100% satisfied. I guess i will have to log it with Tony on monday and depending on that results i will see what then.

Adam i had no tools to check the angle but im sure you can measure it from that photo hehe.

Nice to meet you again tonight mate

As promised here are the logs

I would diagnose it as a definite boost leak, with it shooting rom 1.3bar, down to just over 1bar etc then back up again

although oddly enough, it appears to be meeting requested, but requested at 1.1bar is quite a tame map:confused:

I couldnt spot any loose pipes straight away also

and thanks for the Polish beers, I look forward to those this weekend!

I hope you enjoyed the ride in the car....since then I have a turbo whistle and a loose pipe somewhere
