so....any updates?

does everyones car seem to be behaving themselves with these resistors?

what was the problem with the brake lights which were failing to illuminate?

my car has been fine for ages!

we only need these resistors to stop the 3rd brake light in the spoiler from glowing at night time when the sidelights/dipped beam is on...

the reason it glows is because the LED lights are far more efficient than a normal bulb and therefore the resistance is too low and power leaks up to the spoiler brake lights! :( (well thats my understanding!)

others got the CEL on their dash come on, but once you have the resistors fitted u can clear the CEL with vag com and then it shouldnt come back!

i never got a CEL, but i did get a fault register re the brakes, but it didnt bring the CEL up.

hope this helps!

I'm still having problems .. where-by the brake lights dont come on.. and if you pump the pedal they get well confused to the stage.. where you can sit with your foot on the brake.. 5 seconds late the brake lights come on...

Disconnect both resitors and its fine...

hopefully gonna sit down this week and find out whats going wrong. In all fairness i havent really had the time to do anything about them and check to make sure im not doing anything stupid.
