good price that mike, we pay £6 for a 2" weld which takes approx 20mins per weld, so 3 an hour for 7 hours = £126 so id say you got a good deal mate

suppose if you look at it liek that, it wasnt just the welding either that included the 3" mandrel bend he bought in and taking off dp/exhaust and refitting.

Im happy with price just hope results reflect cost

:D Fingers crossed for you m8 , if kkko3s sees better figures than my EO5 then the lost power deffo lies with the Dp.

Talking to mike and he said last week he had a Octavia RS in (kkko3s),
which was practically standard everything and that saw 242bhp so the power is there to be had its just finding the right combo put together which makes it all work for the IBIZA.

Mike also said EO5 wasn't too disimilar to the original kkko3s its based on so IMHO you should see about the same figures as me or better (236 bhpin 5th ).

Good luck:cheers:

thanks for the good words, Hopefully some good figures will come out on this and some light shed on issues. I got a niggling feeling that injectors have something to do with it as they are smaller on the ibiza than any other car. Might ask jabba to change them anyway while im up there

I'll bell Mike and get the extinguishers ready :p

Hopefully not.
Still, if K03S does'nt cut the mustard you have everything sles ready for a nice big turbo...
In for a penny eh?

Mike told me stock injectors with 4 bar are good for 280 bhp,
Using bigger injectors with 3bar only takes the work rate off the fuel pump as its not working as hard as it is with 4bar.
On my eo5 getting more fuel in was only a problem related to getting the best out of the set up ,not a case of NOT being able to flow more fuel due to maxed out injectors.
Think mike said the stock injectors using 4bar fpr are equal to S3 injectors (CC)flow rate.

Hope this helps and makes sense.
Still got my fingers crossed for ya!!!:D

He told me the same thing, but at 250hp ish with a 4bar FPR, they were at 100% duty cycle on my glof at 5000rpm onwards.

A lot of people run the injectors well over 100% duty cycle, particularly on chipped cars with 3 bar fpr's. It works, but it's not the best idea in the world.

don't know what duty cycle mine are running at but i do know there was more scope to run more fuel.
I'm sure mike T knows his stuff :D

I didn't know you could go over 100% duty cycle. Doesn't 100% meant they are open as long as they possibly can be?

Also, I've been told that its a very bad idea to go over 80% duty cycle at the most!

Ben there's a theoretical time window in which you can inject fuel. 100% of this is 100% duty cycle. You can keep them open for longer, as the fuel ultimately has to go into the cylinder, and this time window is the ideal period in the cycle to inject fuel, but you can over run it.

Mike and Adam have asked me to post up their figures from Jabba,Mike 249.3bhp and 290lbft on coolest run.Adam 240bhp and 270lbft.Mikes induction temps 45 degrees max.Run at 1.45 bar max and injectors were running at the limit with 4 bar regulator.Only difference between the cars is a autotechnics turbo intake pipe on Mikes.Mikes car didn't go below 260lbft on any run.I think this solves a few theories about K03S ,they do produce power ,but need induction ,exhaust restrictions removed first and changing injectors is a good idea. Andy
