There are the writers of Vag-Com, and they occassionally check the VAG-Com section, try sending -Uwe- a PM asking him if he can help.

Here's his profile:

Thank you i will have a look into that later

Its still not right, pulls back and the Engine Management Light is still on! I have a feeling it may be my N75 too as the original fault code is coming up still:-

I had a prob with mine last winter which sounds quite similar to the probs your having, a slight missfire and a hesitation, turned out to be a bad earth for the coilpacks, try cleaning the contacts down and see if that helps

Alex, whats the number for the error codes that are coming up?

This is the first one:-

17965 - Charge Pressure Control: Positive Deviation

I dont have the code for the other one until tonight but this is what it says

Ignition Activation Cylinder Four, Open Circuit

hey alex, was just speaking with my college at work about the problem with your car, i showed him your first post about the problem and he recons it could be something as simple as blocked injectors or poor air intake.

He's asking if you have uprated the engine in any way and that you could need bigger / more powerfull injectors.

He aslo recons he made up that seatcurpa.net numberplate for you few months back b4 your show.... what ever that means.

you dont need bigger injectors then, unless one of them is blocked

I dont want to start complicating things though, i mean the fault code is saying something about an Cylinder Four, Open Circuit, which IIRC is something to do with the coilpack/plugs
