I spoke to rob don and the larger the airfilter and wider the neck the lower the g/s because it speeds the air up...

Willy: Them Logs were when I '' Re-adjusted'' the MBC beacause i thought it was the Boost pressure causing the high cfs....
Im running a 3'' LCR Maf tube With an ibiza element..

So ive turned it back up the way i had it ''1.5bar'' and its going like stink...

I knew the Gasket wouldnt help much but its defo Needed...Im Putting it down to either Fuel Or Maf...

As i made 160.5 g/s then recaluted to 180.5g/s....Im abit puzzled really...as i should be way in the 200g/s area..

With a larger air filter, your airflow will increase as the air resistance decreases.... your g/sec should increase.

what boost are you currently holding at 6000 rpm say.

What is the diameter of your original and previous maff housing.

what software are you running.

 you make me laugh.....only just finishing the gt2x and already you are moving onto bigger things

or is this because you know the gt2x simply wont deliver what it should be ;)

Danny, don't strip the car yet until you perfected this project first. There is no reason why you can't achieve k04 hybrid pwer levels on this tubby. the main reason people struggle with getting the power out of any hybrid is most of the time the actuator settings are completly un calibrated for the desired outputs ( certainly was in my case). I would be speaking to forge to see if any in house actuators will fit your turbo. Firstly though with an accurate foot/ hand pump i would measure the pressure at which your actuator STARTS to move. If its below 11psi or 0.8 bar your probably loosing boost from unintentional wastegate opening due to turbo back pressure ( wastegate creeep i believe its called). Don't for one minute think that CR turbos give the turbo back to you with the correct wastegate pressure. Its probably the same actuator as the one ATP supplied as stock. In which case its pants:blink: and is only designed to generate stock gt2x power levels and not hybrid power levels.

Measure the actuator spring pressure and report back.

I will be doing that Willy Tweaking the Gt2x ...Also how do i test the pressure again i forgot

But thus Td05 can produce way more than this and i wanna acheive it all by doing it all my self...

350bhp il be happy with

Well yeah!

Hence me getting a 2nd hand block? And rebuilding it?

While me gettin the turbo ect...It won't be goin on this engine of mine....Gonna do it all then swap it all over ect...

you get me?

got ya chief:)

350bhp even on a newer block or any 1.8T block is like playing Russian Roulette, so glad you are doing this

what internals are you doing exactly?
