Check out the link on the first page of this thread then, you'll struggle to find a better quality kit for less money. And get yourself some matching sidelights as well, just for the finishing touch :)

Get onto eBay and search for Leon Sidelight and you should find some 4xLED 501 sidelights from 'Autobulbsdirect'

I bought these and I'm very impressed. Nice blue/white light that matches the HID's perfectly and cast a lot more light than the standard bulbs.

Nice and cheap too :)

Just one quick question before I order some of these..... if the law changes or I do get pulled for having these lights how easy is to change these back to standard? Will there be any problems caused by drilling the holes? Thus, would I need to buy replacement parts? Thanks, Miles

PS amazing find by the way!!!

None at all. The only hole you drill is in the light cover that is simply there to protect the back of the bulbs and the wiring. It could easily be covered up with a piece of tape if you ever wanted to put the lights back to standard. I'm sure you could even buy new covers for very little money from Seat if you really wanted :)

Drilled the holes in prep for the delivery of my kits yesterday...small pilot in center of the intended hole, and then used one of those flat wood drills to finish it off. Will have to do a bit of "dremmeling" to get to the right size for the grommets, but will wait till they actually arrive before I start messing with that bit...

Try and keep the hole as small as possible to ensure a good, tight and secure fit. So try the grommets in the holes as they are now and work it from there. You can always make the holes bigger, but not smaller ;)

Started @ 20mm, so guessing (from comments in this thread) that I'll have to do a little work...have scammed a mates digi-caliper to check the internals  of the grommets when they arrive.

Getting a bit trigger happy every time I see a courier van park up outside the house now...actually jumped up & opened the door this morning, only to find the delivery dude standing at the house next door

All the tools are in a little pile, and the how to is printed (in colour) ready to go.

Hoping they're here before the weekend, as driving up to Penrith to visit a mate for the weekend!

Be very useful for that trip! Mine are a little tigher than the size of the grommet and it is a tight fit but means no chance of leaking

Same here. And I agree, these lights will be superb for a long trip in the dodgy weather we've been having recently! I think the biggest improvement these lights make is when it's wet and dark. Road markings and signs are much easier and clearer to see now.

Piece of advice once fitted though is keep an old rag or some tissues in the boot so you can clean the lens off before your journeys so that a) you get the best light output and b) you don't dazzle other drivers!

Very good advice. In fact, I think Armourall (spelling?) make some handy 'clean everything' wipes that you could keep in the car for this purpose? Like baby wipes for cars but help to get rid of all sorts of crap.

I do actually keep some wetwipe type things in the boot under the floor (the toledo has just sooooooooooooooo much space under the boot I can fit all sorts in!) to clean up bird crap, front lens, mirrors and wiper blades. Makes a big difference.

The EMS website is beyond useless! It seems like 10 days is the average time it takes for them to arrive, if you go with EMS. I'd expect to see them towards the end of next week to be honest. Chinese new year has probably slowed things up a tad too.
