Casper, how much do you think (ball park figure) you have spent on getting your car upto that level of spec? Im really hankering after a petrol at the moment. Was looking at a LCR, but to be honest it's probably a bit big for me, plus I could spend what I saved on the Ibiza on mods.

Im assuming its hard work getting Ko4s on the Ibiza, worth just gettting a BT?

Maybe its just nearly midlife crisis (im now 25!!, plus im gona die young )

Or do I hold out and wait to get an elise? Or finish doing up my flat

Plus Daz, Baz and others you can chip in and give me a ball park figure on damage to your wallet... I love the idea of a +250 BHP mk3 (in all black)

I had a play yesterday with the new bmw m6. He is a friend of a friend. The first two runs we were totally equal from second gear to end of the fourth. I was really schocked and couldn't belive he didn't pass me. The next few races we tried he got by 2-3 cars length to around 120mph, but my motor was already pretty hot so it wasn't the best performance. I am waiting for aquamist installation so i can race him again, and will post a video when it happens hopefully

Lets be honest, the Ibiza probably weighs half the weight of the M6, so it is doable, plus Casper is running >300BHP. Maybe not to 120 MPH though, the BMW is miles more aerodynamic (i'd imagine).

Plus casper has more torque!!!! ~453.1 NM

not blinded mate its FACT if he gets to 60mph in 4.5 secs how does a ibiza keep up??? unless the ibiza does the same 0 to 60...

453.1'NM' is like 350 lb/ft or somewhere around there

tbh id be surprised if an IHI ibiza could be quicker than an M5 or an M6, i remember someone with IHI mentioned it a while back and im sure he said that he couldnt get past it

He didnt go from a standing start, So 0-60 is irrelevant.

The M6 would pull 3-4 cars on the Launch alone, but take that out of the equation and run from 2nd, as he did then Should be close. IMHO

I think the best thing to do is to buy a already tuned ibiza. In other case, you will spend a LOT of money and nerves. K04 is the same as a bt upgrade regarding work, so it may be wise to get a BT upgrade, although i like the instant spool and torque of the k04 - it all comes down to what you prefer.

Regarding m6: if we went from standing start he sure would school me but we went from a roll and it was even for the first two times. As i said, when we tried again(this time from higher speeds 3. gear and on) he went past me and had like 3 cars to 5.th gear. As we were getting faster the bmw was gaining more and more. He was gaining the most between the shifts(i shift like a grandma , his smg shifts like in 0,06 sec ) Conclusion: m6 was faster, but i gave him a LOT of trouble from 2. to 4th gear He was really surprised because he thought he wouldn't have that kind of problems with a seat

Seat Cupra R or no R it would get wasted.. iv been in both and the FQ would not even waste its time and petrol.........my ibiza is 235bhp and it would get laughed at...
