I had a similar experience during the week. EVO 8 from around a 30mph rolling start to half way through 4th, neck and neck, i wasnt pulling away and he wasnt catching.

No idea what model it was, had black 6 spokes that looked OEM, and a large spoiler.

It takes a big difference in power/weight to make any huge gains once moving, plus as said the driver and conditions make a lot of difference so Its not suprising a modded ibiza can keep pace with an evo etc.

I am really impressed with the way the car is going at the moment, i thought after riding the bike for the last 3 months while it was off the road would make it feel really slow but it feels fast.

Crafoo, that's why it is believable. People are to concerened with 0-60 1/4mile times but they don't show the half of it.
If an M3 evo 320 @ fly obv is going to have slightly more power at the wheels only being RWD than an FQ320 and there was nothing in it. So I can imagine what Baz is saying is v. true.

You have to remember how much power an 4WD car loses through the transmission, my mate who has just sold his Evo VI TME mentioned it was it's around 100bhp!

His car ran low 14s at Santa Pod, pretty standard, but on a rolling start there isn't much between his car and mine.

Is that just a fancy way of saying N75C, or have you modified it somehow?

The restrictor brings the boost on sharper.

Indeed that's why I wasn't surprised, from a standing start you would get nailed though.

I do somewhere but i have no idea where they are, but i can tell you it peaks around 5500-6000rpm same place as the power.

Couldnt find you graph, but here are the figures...

230 bhp @ 5480rpm @ flywheel
185 bhp @ wheels

221 lbf-ft @ 5380rpm

252 lb-ft & 200wbhp these are the figs with the dp not had it done since the IC was fitted.

N249 was pretty easy, i just followed Sims guide. It's on here somewhere.
