Actually got a pone call this morning at 0945. I have been told that the final part will be with them by Thursday for the gearbox. I then mentioned the oil loss and the conversation with the technician about oil feed seals, also enquired if the roof liner had been replaced yet and the bonnet liner. Silence........................ erm well erm I havent got the details erm the technician will ring you Wednesday Mr Berry.

Cenotaph at Whitehall tomorrow. Back to Henley Barracks to get changed then drive off to North East London to pick up a MK1 53 plate Focus RS :D 52K on the clock and a couple of tasteful mods. All for ............. a bit of a bargain!:clap::clap:

Will post up some pictures tomorrow. Well it drives ok, got Dream Science flash doodah and Miltek exhaust. Alloys are all refurbed and some rather festive Samco bright blue hoses under the bonnet and some aftermarket induction kit. Its not been really tinkered with at all and original owner. He and She have bought the new one in Frozen White. Bloke must have been about 55 - 60

Apart from that its standard. The Boc is staying by the look of it. Mrs B was all over the RS like a tramp with a bag of chips on a Saturday night. Decided she hated the Altea bus and wants the Boc back.:D

Pictures tomorrow or Tuesday, it needs a wash n polish so if its dry going to give it a going over.:D

Afternoon off work (took TOIL) seeing as it was bright and sunny in Berkshire. Used brother in laws front garden and spent the afternoon cleaning and drinking tea. Pictures of the new purchase are on my albums on profile. Cocked up the img file to post it on the thread.

Spent the afternoon washing polishing and waxing. Bit more to do yet.

Thanks, I was lucky the couple that had it before me were a bit older and really looked after it. Not too sure if I paid too much, bit it is very clean and has had the bonnet and front resprayed due to a branch hitting the car whilst they were behind a lorry. It was all cosmetic but the owner was very OCD with the paint work. The only other thing is the Exhaust is a bit rattly sounds like the baffles are a bit loose or something. Apart from that its got new discs and pads already just going to bit the 60,000 mile service next year.

Again another week of no parts now been told it could be mid December. Seriously fed up with the dealer and Seat. One part out of a bin in the post not exactly rocket science. I could have Sorned the car off the road for a month if its taking this long. Ok fair one did say take as long as you want but hang on this is taking the proverbial

well atleast after 2 months without the car, driving the bus you got, once you will receive the boc back, it will feel like a new car to you, so you will be happy for few months. so basically, doing it, and getting a car for the period is like a time to chill a bit, and then getting a "new' car each few months for no cost.
look at the bright side. ;-)

Now due from them to Dealer on the second of Dec.
