Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr Still in bits, parts have not arrived from Seat. rang them last night and there has been no progress with the car its basically sat in bits in the workshop. Got the bus still for the forseeable future. Im really interested in the CTR I looked at last weekend but cant move on it as the Boc is c'est mort at the moment.

If it comes back ok will give it a second chance but the CTR GT is a steal !

i borrowed a mates ctr for a week and it did my nut in tbh, i liked it for a few days then the fact there was no torque and you had to rev the arse out of it rly annoyed me,

if i were you id persist with the boc mate, once working you will be smitten again, i think its because its all new im sure they all have problems that need ironing out, and no doubt if you can buy a boc in a couple of yrs all the issues will be resolved, so just persist mate it will be worth it in the end

Same problems with my dealer though, if theyre busy and promise to call back, they don't... If you tell them there's something wrong with the car, the promis to take a look at it and they don't even look at it...
Recon I should just change dealer

Just change dealers mate, I found Wakefield quite rude whereas service at Huddersfield is great they call u all the time with updates, after the car has been in I usually get a call a week later from seat themselves to see if I'm happy and stuff, that level of service is what makes me want to stay within the seat brand

Dooont get the CTR, they are nothing like the old ones. Large lumbering and slow. Yeah they look nice but thats about it. Going from loads of low down torque to the vtec engine will be a shock.

Nope Im going retro!). It was the cheaper option.

Will have it Saturday or Sunday, and the Boc also. We need to be a 2 car family. All I will say its not going to be slow! And its not a bus. We need 2 cars again....

Well another week goes by promised a phone call on Wednesday, no phone call. Rang SMC today and guess what? K**** will ring you back by the close of play today Mr Berry.

My F**kin A**e has he. So is the close of play 10 oclock tonight as I have not heard anything.

Pick my new toy up on Sunday after remembrance parade at the Cenotaph. Got a short trip up to Watford and get to drive it back. yeehar 212 bhp here I come :D

Still got the Seat Altea XL "Beep beep taxi, where to boss innit?" For Mrs B to use as her pool car has gone back.

Ok so to the Boc do I say to the sales dept; Fix it at your leisure, take it in PX for something else with a Blue Oval on the front? Or wait and keep it for Mrs B as she likes it, but as she put it "SMC's service department are basically a pile of W**k" :-o

She doesnt mind her P's n Q's

id go mental too, id actually go down there and make a show to make them look dicks in front of other customers, totally not on how they are treating you.

I know what you mean chuck. I agree with lee too, show up there unannounced and kick off mate. What they are doing is unacceptable by any standards. Good customer relations require a company to always keep a client updated with progress, even if there is none! It's a simple frikken phone call which in turn gives the customer piece of mind and re-assures them that some one is at least working on their problem.
