The Dealers are now seeking permission for a new gearbox. Technicians have written a report saying they cannot split the gear box
Only taken seven weeks .................... comedic in the extreme

No Christmas cheer here. Got a call from the dealers SEAT UK wont warranty the whole box they have to persevere with splitting it to sort it out. Season of good will to all men? Bollocks more like. I really am at my whits end with the car. Going to dealers Wednesday to sort out for once and for all what is going on been in touch with auto Ombudsman did not want to come to this but got no choice.
Just want my effing car back. With rattle frankly dont care do the head liner do the turbo and give me it back.

God alone knows. Well sad but true time. I have asked the Wshop manager to respond to me in writing with a solution by 1200 tomorrow. Failing this the matter will be referred to an ombudsman, we have also sort legal advice and have been informed there is now a case to answer in relation to fit for purpose and reasonable time. Did not want to go in this direction but if there is no joy then the papers we have had drawn up will be sent.
I am gutted its come to this. I wont be able to say much more if tomorrow does not play out how we hope, for legal reasons obviously.

What they are doing is soooo lame. At least you are lucky that you live in UK and there are laws which will allow you to find a solution. If you lived in Banana Republic like me you would have been all alone.
I have a Bocanegra again, could not say much until I got my paws on it again yesterday. Took it out for a bit of a "drive" and my oh my its nice to have it back. Still cant say too much until the compensation is sorted also the tracking needs sorting but I will bite the bullet and sort that out on Saturday. Mechanically the thing is a real beast again. REVO next month,

Good wash hoover and clean, they valeted it but Kamil Chamoisletherski Polskachopzka did an average job with his bucket of manky water and a gritty chamois. Could not even run the hoover round properly bless him and the Alloys are still manky and tyres not gelled! 3/10 for effort!
