is there a shortcut to switch between comfort/sport if you don’t have the steering wheel cupra button?
my Audi had auto/comfort/sport etc so all I had to do was switch the gear select lever down to sport when needed. Thanks

If you pull the gear selector back towards you, that should switch the gear box from D to S mode.

Pulling the gear lever back only changes the gear box between Drive and Sport. This is separate to drive profiles which include adaptive dampers, sound, steering etc. that can only be done through the infotainment screen without the satellite button on the steering wheel.

A bit annoying but just what I thought, thanks though.

So it took me 10 mins to realise but may take others longer. Someone posted this photo on here below..and I couldn’t see the central locking/tyres options when I checked on my screen (picture 2)

as you can see on my screen below, only two are visible but you can swipe across which rotates the car and gives you the other options (the dots under the front wheel).

It's just ventilation and it won't do much, at least when it's cold. I was hoping it will help with defrosting windscreen, but absolutely no difference. You don't need any special authorisation to run ventilation function.
I suppose that the ventilation going on in a hot country like Spain could make quite a difference, but agreed, it's a complete waste in colder climates.

Hi mate, I sent you a message a while ago regarding this but seems like you’ve answered it just now - activating at the dealer didn’t give you any extra temperature controls (you don’t need the dealer to allow ventilation function).

Just curious whether activating at dealer does anything other than allow remote lock/unlock (that’s the only feature on my app which asks for it)…

I suppose it’s what the user wants from it that’s important. Mixed reviews as always but I like it, for me the ability to check;

Remote lock, where parked, send addresses to satnav, highlights faults, mpg comparison, vehicle status (windows open), service info. Oh and sound horn to put the whoolies up the Mrs lol.

You have to have privacy at minimum in the car for it to work.
Only real disappointment with the app is you can’t close windows from it, you could on the Audi when I had it.

All of those mentioned, apart from remote lock, don’t require dealer activation. That’s what I was curious about - if there were any hidden features other than remote lock that require dealer activation.

Changing the interior LED background lighting setting to drive profile/Cupra makes the LED strip on the dash glow red with throttle response ;)
Hi mate. What do you mean? I’ve tried this and mine is just a solid red LED, no difference when throttle is applied. Does yours pulse or gain intensity when the throttle is pressed?

It almost acts like a rev counter with the light growing from the centre of the dash out and around as you apply throttle.
