Things I have discovered about the car.

I tried the voice control when I first got the car, but didn't find it very accurate, and the satnav address search by voice was very slow. But perhaps I should give it another go if it seems to have improved.

As an aside, does anyone knw how to reset the Trip mileage? I can reset the Long-Range stats on the Driving Data screen, but can't fine the reset for the Trip counter, it just stays the same as the odometer (as viewed on the Classic view). Thanks.

Go into vehicle settings, then select interior then scroll to the trip recorder and reset.

On updates....Only infotainment system gets an over the air update if in the sequence of updates, trains as they call them in mib2, probably the same name in mib3. That's why some people are waiting for updates (to be released over the air) or have to go to the dealers since its not over the air, a new train.

The other software in the control units are not updated over the air. @East Yorkshire Retrofits will say if I'm wrong wrong I'm sure.

OTA infotainment updates don't actually change the software version either.. that's only possible by visiting your local dealer/an independent workshop such as ourselves. It's just small tweaks within the same version number

There’s two stages of refresh in the CUPRAConnect app; one that refreshes from the server, and one that I assume refreshes from the Car.

I didn’t notice immediately, and I seem to remember reading some people having problems with the app updating from the car, and they might not have noticed this as I don’t think it’s obvious.

May have already been mentioned, but if you press the touch temperature bar with 2 fingers at the same time, i.e. press the red and blue, then it switches on the heated seats.

Subsequent presses then lower the heating setting i.e 3, 2 ,1 and off.

Last night, when leaving my VZ3 in sport mode with the background lights previously set to drive mode, when locking the car a red ‘pulse’ of light sweeps from right to left across the dashboard light track two times. Reminded me of KITT from night rider !

anyone else noticed anything similar ?

Mine always does this when locking the car. Just thought it was a standard feature.

Not sure if a feature or a bug... but if it's dark and I unlock using KESSY the front interior lights don't come on (but the back ones do)
If I unlock using the key fob button they all come on.
Probably a bug tbh

Sure its a bug. Mine is hit and miss with the front interior lights coming on whether I use the remote or keyless.

Wasn’t really sure where to ask this and didn’t want to start a new thread. I haven’t figured out how to do full screen map on the virtual cockpit. Is it possible? I did “read” the manual but couldn’t find it.

Hold down the VIEW button on steering wheel, then cycle through to the view where map is displayed in the middle it will remove the info left and right.

It’s a great feature, but shame it can’t give it a quick blast of air after to clear water that distorts the lens.

That would be good mate. It would also be good if you can set the widescreen view as ‘default’ when reversing, I always use this view.
