You can set the the temperature in the car using the voice command button on the steering wheel "set the temperature to 22 degrees". If you leave off the "degrees" the system gets confused. This only changes the temperature on the driver side. I will experiment with the passenger side/ both later today. You can also change the radio station using the voice command button. "Play BBC Radio 2/4/6/Talksport/Jazz FM" all work well. Again, if you say "Play Radio 2" it gets confused. Getting there slowly...
Also found that “volume up” or “volume down” work as well, class, who needs knobs and buttons

Discovered these two today

1. If navigating via Apple Maps, the directions and next turn appear on the instrument dial and the cars native satnav map (depending on your instrument view). It doesn’t appear if using Google Maps (via Apple CarPlay).

2. If playing music (only tried with Apple Music) and the passenger door opens, the music stops.

If you do the full data protection thing, go and get authorised at your dealer/ service centre (photographic ID required), you get full use of the app, including setting the temperature in the car remotely to a time you have set. My car is 100% petrol & not hybrid (some suggested this would only work for hybrid cars).

Can you screenshot a few examples of what’s unlocked with the full access of the app please?

That’s very interesting, and as far as I’m aware not advertised? The only thing I thought that affected was the ability to lock/unlock via the app.

Will it remotely start the engine to run the climate control?

It's just ventilation and it won't do much, at least when it's cold. I was hoping it will help with defrosting windscreen, but absolutely no difference. You don't need any special authorisation to run ventilation function.

Some countries have an Auxiliary heater (it’s in the manual) so they could be somewhere other than UK.

Has the ventilation function on VZ Edition but it isn’t on the V2 as far as I know. Not on the app but I haven’t checked in the car TBF.

The poster mentioned that it allows you to set the temperature.

Seriously?

Clever, no doubt. But given that it's somewhere in the region of your right knee, I'm not convinced it's that much help 🤔

When you stop the car, if you turn the engine off it goes into park and puts the handbrake on automatically. In my previous car I always forgot to do the handbrake so quite useful.

I don’t seem to get that and constantly forget to place it in Park. Never had it automatically put the handbrake on either. Interesting.

Yeah they must have moved the switch with the coloured lights on it (red and green) as per the Ateca onto the main infotainment scheme like all the other controls in the Formentor / Leon 4. I've knocked mine once and wondered why it rolled when I parked... only once in 5 years 😂. It works well in a DSG.

Not really a discovery but at night the interior looks beautiful lit up. The exterior lights also look top, my 6 year old son is loving the Cupra logo on the floor.

Hopefully by Christmas he will realise he can't stand on it!!!!
