Picked up my VZ2 310 in Graphene Grey yesterday. Lovely drive to drive and lots of kit. I’ve downloaded the connect app and wonder what the Ventilation slider on the app does please? See picture attached.

Just switches on the blowers for 10 mins - runs off battery (no air con). You can’t set a temperature.

Many thanks for the quick reply AndyCupra93. I thought that’s what it did but not sure if it’s of any benefit? If no air con then how much it will it cool the car in the summer and if no temp control how much will it warm / defrost the car in winter. Will have to give it try and see. Anyone else used it? Found it beneficial?

Hi all, my VZ2 310 Magnetic Tech arrived last thursday... Finally. What are the top 3 shortcuts people are using? Trying to familiarise my goto startup setting eg Lane Assist - off start/stop - off before I even leave the driveway. Voice command seems response, haven't driven in the dark so can't comment on the interior lighting just yet, if these need setting from factory settings.

My opinion is it’s 99% useless. The best you can hope for is clearing some stagnant hot air on a sunny day. It’s not able to cool/warm/defrost at all unfortunately.

I've found it to be quite useful actually when the car has been sat in the sun for a while - it does seem to get rid of a lot of the hot air out of the car.

The little things in life…lol

1. When using ACC and you change the view to the radar (where you can see images of other cars/bikes around you), when you break or indicate, your little Formentor icon does the same.

2. When you press the Formentor car icon on the central screen, the lights on the front of the car icon light up.

3. Trying to activate the boot lid with your leg can be hit and miss. Not sure why.

Ive sussed the tailgate out. put your foot right under in the middle ,keep it there a second and then fast straight out works everytime.

I disabled mine after twice activating it unintentionally whilst standing with my head inside the boot.

funny as when I was washing mine yesterday the jet washer opened it lol. i took the keys in the house that stopped it.

Step back with Ateca since it waiting for you to do that, least when the foot comes out in mine.... the hazard is then tripping on something behind . You learn from your mistakes. Travelodge kerb after reversing in.

On saying that, stuck on the M6 crawling in traffic today and my wife says “do you know everybody is looking at your car”…I’ll take that
