Contacted Cupra live chat this morning and they told me they can't provide any dates as their tracking app is down.. I think this is the line they will use to fob folk off now
Are you waiting on a VZ2 310?What were your options?? I ordered in May and I don't think I'll see delivery this side of Xmas. I had been told delivery 11th Oct but when I contacted Cupra was told nope, car still in production awaiting parts
Ordered V2, Graphene greyAre you waiting on a VZ2 310?
It's just an observation. Hybrids seem to be given priority, V1 and V2 next, then the petrol VZ models seem to be bottom of the pile. But like I say, just the impression I get.Ordered V2, Graphene grey
I have ordered a Vz1 245 PHEV 1 month ago and was told delivery april next year.Well,I cancelled my order for a vz2 310 last week because there was no foreseeable delivery date (ordered mid may) but I've now ordered an in stock vz1 245 phev in magnetic in its place with delivery in a few weeks time!
The delays may well have done me a favour in the end as the attractions of owning a phev have not been lost on me after the last few weeks fuel shenanigans have illustrated.
I also tow a small Basecamp caravan occasionally so having a engine for that side of my driving life is probably sensible although at home I suspect we will use the 30 odd mile electric range 95 percent of the time due to our shirt commute and travelling needs.
Getting excited again with the prospect of finally getting my hands on my cupra.
Couldn't agree more. I've seen a lot of shady IT systems in my career, but the way they are selling those 'down times' is really questionable.Contacted Cupra live chat this morning and they told me they can't provide any dates as their tracking app is down.. I ordered mine end of May and got an email about a month ago with a provisional arrival date. I said I will collect it rather than wait for delivery. As with my first lease car with a different company, organised delivery to my area by demand. With the way things are I wasn't prepared to wait until my postcode/City was picked out of hat (so to speak).....or my car was 'mistakenly' delivered to someone else etc. I'd rather just collect it as soon as it arrives and is registered. What were your options?? The dealer had ordered a batch in and I'll be the lucky recipient of one of them...no idea how it all works but I'll just be glad to hold of one eventually.I have ordered a Vz1 245 PHEV 1 month ago and was told delivery april next year.
Not good, Cupra live chat is now pointless as they just use the IT problems excuse, so no updates. Have been told car will be at dealership on 18th Nov, should have been 11th Oct. If it slips again I'm just cancellingJust seen this article in another group…. Definitely not good!!
VW's SEAT to extend assembly curbs in Spain into 2022 on chip shortage
Volkswagen's (VOWG_p.DE) Spanish unit SEAT plans to extend partial car assembly suspensions at its plants near Barcelona well into 2022 because of global semiconductor supply bottlenecks, the company said in a statement.www.reuters.com
I know…. Up until this week Cupra we’re actually quite helpful. Now all you get is the Faulty IT story and to contact your dealer. Tried my contact at Lookers, no response. What spec are you and which dealership? I’m a V2 ehybrid 204 with Lookers Cupra StockportNot good, Cupra live chat is now pointless as they just use the IT problems excuse, so no updates. I went with them too because the deal was really good. I'm Reluctant to cancel because I know I won't get that deal again but also don't want to order something else and still have to wait months for arrival.V2, went through leasing Options as it was great deal

Hi,Update: Had a call this morning from NVC and delivery scheduled for next Monday 11th. That will be just under 5 months from ordering, although the car was a pipeline order.
Told I cannot upgrade the wheels because the packs are locked. :/I would have thought wheels would be an easy upgrade. Are you dealing direct with Cupra/ VWFS or a broker?
I used them, found them to be ok replying to my emails, far better than Cupra customer support. My car took six months to arrive and looking back I think that was as good as could be expected.Anyone in the group either had their car through Lookers Cupra Stockport or waiting on one. They have gone radio silent on me and I can’t get any info whatsoever about my car. Two weeks ago it was supposedly sat in Spain at the port awaiting a ship, not heard anything since. Ordered end of May build week 31, confirmed built but nothing else. My Surrey Tiguan goes on the 28th this month so looks like I’m going to be without a car
