Anyone in the group either had their car through Lookers Cupra Stockport or waiting on one. They have gone radio silent on me and I can’t get any info whatsoever about my car. Two weeks ago it was supposedly sat in Spain at the port awaiting a ship, not heard anything since. Ordered end of May build week 31, confirmed built but nothing else. My Surrey Tiguan goes on the 28th this month so looks like I’m going to be without a car ☹️

Sorry Deckard63 Im not with Lookers but im in a similar situation with Zen Auto (leasing) which said my vehicle is at the port awaiting Shipping, they did say it would be the 11th of November but looking at Refcap8712 Info then i am not sure if it will delayed again.

’ve managed to find someone at Lookers that has been able to update me. Apparently my car is now in the UK and has been registered. Saying I ‘May’ get it next week. A bit more positive 👍
Wow Nice one mate, surprising you get some helpful person that goes that extra mile and updates you rather than be pawned off all the time , hopefully you `l get it, what cupra you order?

Hi Irfy8 Maybe they are stowing for time, their emails are not showing any conclusive date, however speak to Nick from that department he may be able to keep you posted he seems to have the Build/Export sheet be nice to keep us updated.

Great Langlord, what a nice thing she is :) i am guessing on that flatbed getting delivered may as well have been a million pounds, cant wait for mine have you been waiting long?
I have been one of the lucky ones only ordered in June through leasing options.

I will check the software version on the car tomorrow.

It’s a very different story with the 992 (which is now going to be at least 6 months late) and the VW Toureag which we have no idea about as VW are simply passing on a general letter.

Wow im assuming this is a Porsche 992 Yes was told there could be a long wait time, even still got my friend who works for Volvo they have upto a year on some of their cars they are selling. I am hoping the software update was to cure the slow Infotainment system they were talking about, apparently it has upto a 2 min delay.

Yes it is a Porsche. Guess I can count myself very lucky I have an order as they are trading for over list at the moment - and on my model gts the dealers are now saying an 18 month wait. Was interested to see Porsche have had their best three quarters ever this year for sales volumes.

Regarding the formentor overall very impressed with the car. Had one little niggle with front assist stopping for 10 minutes but other than that the screen has been really responsive and through playing around I am already quite comfortable using it.

there is still the issue with ACC with it detecting cars on the inside lane and slowing down. I have just instantly hit the accelerator and then the car has just carried on. Not ideal and hopefully their will be an update at some point.

Yes the Wait for Semiconductors may not even be resolved fully until 2 years they say from now, as for the ACC Sounds a bit Dangerous is there not a way to Deactivate these i remember someone saying a while ago when they had a Kia that these can be oversensitive, apparently there was a software update to fix the issue, i am sure Cupra with being new will suffer a lot of electronical problems. However i do blame a Cheaper Semiconductor, who knows if they even designed them and cut costs on parts hope not :cautious:

I ordered the VZ2 e-Hybrid from ZenAuto 4 weeks ago and having emailed them yesterday they've got my chassis number and it's due for delivery to the dealer at the start of November, and to me mid-November, despite saying pre-registered in September when I ordered it.

Tried Cupra chat for update and now getting the template reply....

If this guy replying to your chat is a Cupra Support he is correct to advise you to contact your retailer, i heard they have stopped all the tracking from the official cupra, i would therefore get in touch with your retailer or lease provider just curios when you ordered this please?

I imagine they were overwhelmed by the amount of requests for updates, as it was highlighted on Facebook that it was a quick way of getting them without waiting for the lease company / dealer to respond.

I am at a loss now as CUPRA were really good with updates, but my lease company is like getting blood from a stone!
