If this guy replying to your chat is a Cupra Support he is correct to advise you to contact your retailer, i heard they have stopped all the tracking from the official cupra, i would therefore get in touch with your retailer or lease provider just curios when you ordered this please?
Ordered 11th May through leasing Options. I wasn't getting any updates from them so started using Cupra live chat, who initially were pretty good. These updates have now stopped. They initially stated it was an IT issue, which dragged on for weeks. Now they use this template reply.
Passing them the SLI reference allowed them to tell you the progress of the build. Only fair to approach them if your dealership/leasing company don't provide updates

I imagine they were overwhelmed by the amount of requests for updates, as it was highlighted on Facebook that it was a quick way of getting them without waiting for the lease company / dealer to respond.

I am at a loss now as CUPRA were really good with updates, but my lease company is like getting blood from a stone!
Exactly it MrBiggles87 They got overwhelmed with the amount of calls because inundated with calls as per the Semiconductor Shortage, however ive checked on previous forums there is good news concerning orders, if ordered about 2-6 weeks ago theres a chance there may be some Imports 1st to 2nd week of November, however i cant promise your vehicle will be on here, Ive checked some shipping information if they ship from Santander/Spain then the cars are imported before 2 Business Days, however if they are shipped from Barcelona then will take 4-6 Days.

Not knowing Sucks, however i would still get in touch with your Retailer for an update, if your retailer is leasing they will have some update at least or demand to speak to someone that can update you on the progress

Please bear in mind if they say your car has not been built on any feedback, the chances are is going to be grim, but if its awaiting port from Spain the above may give you some ballpark Figure.

I've seen a comment from someone who says he's a SEAT/CUPRA brand ambassador for one of the dealer groups on the Cupra Formentor Owners Group on FB. He says I quote "The reason for this is the systems used are unable to provide accurate information. They are not able to cope with “part built” vehicles, normally the factory would build vehicles in one go. There are changes happening daily at a factory to level to maximize production based on parts availability with a limited forward vision of when those parts will be available from suppliers. Added to this orders were being pushed as far forward as they could be before being pulled forward when sufficient components became available further complicating the forecasts. Whilst no information is very frustrating inaccurate information is worse, which is why the updates have been stopped. Customer services will always help where available and certainly have not stopped providing these updates due to the volume of requests."

I sent an email to my dealer asking about when I should arrange collection of my current lease vehicle, anticipating my Formentor to be delivered around January. This is what I got:

The delivery schedule is all over the place at the moment and I am just unable to give an accurate estimate of delivery.

Maybe just say February or March just in case.
This seems more like a case of "We don't know" because the dealers aren't given a lot of information about the progress of outstanding orders. So I could still take delivery in January, based on what other people have been reporting in here. I'm hoping I'll get a positive message closer to the expected delivery.

Just got a phone call from ZenAuto this morning saying Mid-Late November now for my Leon VZ2 e-Hybrid, with their latest update being Friday evening, however confirming that they still have my chassis number.

When did you originally order yours? Was it ordered for delivery ASAP?

Ordered around 4.5 weeks ago, the website stated at the time the car was pre-registered in September and was in stock, then September became early October, early October became late October, late October became mid November and now mid November became mid-late November.

You get the story, albeit having the chassis number is a somewhat promising sign.

I ordered back in July with a requested delivery date of January. I was hoping that as I'd given them plenty of lead time, that even with the various issues and delays being experienced by the industry, that I will still get my desired ETA of January.

Aquarius Ace is on it's way to Livorno in Italy at the moment. A tried and tested route, it will probably visit Barcelona next, then a trip to the UK, maybe stopping a couple of times on the way.

I finally got the supplying dealer which is JCT600 (SEAT in Bradford) - Spoke to a lovely lady from the fleet department and lo and behold!!!.... still no build date. She did confirm that the factory accepted the order at the end of June, but its stuck in a queue as the higher specs require more semi-conductors so I believe they are pushing out the lower spec models sooner. Ah well, at least its accepted and now just a waiting game.

Yep discussed this on many chats seems not right they simply build lower specs due to less semiconductors, but I'm guessing this comes down to more low end specs mean more money to them yet that's a long time to wait Mrbiggles 😣
