Here are the photos of what I meant with music details when listening to the radio.

Default info card, which you have to pull out from right side ( it took me some times to discover it at the beginning).

And if you press on radio name or song info which is not fully visible, you will see full info. So instead of showing this straight away, you have screen with radio icon taking half of it and obstructing full info what's playing. Why do I need this big, empty icon in a first place?

Some other unrelated things I discovered.

Options in Front Assist.
Not sure what's the point of having ability to switch off below two, when they come back next time you restart the car. It's just easier to switch off Front Assist everytime, instead of chaning these options. I switch it off anyway, but recently just checked what's there and what you can change, only to discover it doesn't matter, because they come back at every restart.

Front assist/emergency braking in a previous car once saved me from running over someone who ran out in front of me - I will never, ever switch it off for that reason. Realise that's my personal experience, but on that occasion at least, it absolutely saved someone from being run over.

I'm afraid of being killed or injured when Front Assist brakes for no reason and someone drives into my rear. If I was driving in Middle East, I would probably leave it on (unpredictable pedestrians, drivers, camels), but in Europe, I don't see it as necessary. Managed without it before Formentor.

I had experience other day when a deer shot out across my path on a dual carriageway. Thankfully i reacted quite quickly I'm sure the car aided me in swerving slightly as I broke. There was traffic behind of me, thankfully no one too close and no one directly to the side of me otherwise the serving may have made another problem with another vehicle. Thankful that the assistance was in operation though.

In my case it happened here in Europe though - someone just darting out from behind a car. Whilst I did see them, the car definitely reacted faster than I could have.

So far haven't had anything even remotely resembling issues with the front assist intruding unnecessarily.

I think the swerve feature does take into account oncoming traffic - don't quote me on that though! Glad at least that you were able with the help of the car to avoid a smack.

The amusing thing here is that Android has a dedicated back button and iPhones don't :D

I’m not using my phone while driving so your amusement is unfounded but hey, I’m glad I amused ya anyway lol
(I do see the irony in my post but you don’t need a back button on an iPhone cause they work fine without one )

I'm struggling with why this is a problem. The radio presenter will tell you what the song is, allowing you to just drive.

These days radio presenters don't tell you about every song, they just play it. Also, title and artist showing on the screen means ads are over and I can unmute radio.

Yeah like I say it was a duel carriageway so no on coming traffic, but Im guessing the radar system that operates on the rear left and rear right of the car will take into consideration the traffic behind when it has to swerve. Yeah it was nearly venison for tea ha but I was seriously worried about the damage to the front end if I made contact.

Yep definitely - problem with deer is them also coming up and over through the windscreen.

Thankfully haven't had to put mine to the test yet haha.

But the rear impact protection helped me once in a rental Golf I had... and I'm guessing it's the same system, so...

Are you not getting the station logo in the left half of the screen Agnes? I sometimes see the blank square, but only for a few minutes, then the logo is displayed. Usually it is displayed on start up. You may not be interested in it, but I would imagine that is why this is the sea fault screen rather than a screen full of text.
I also hadn’t spotted the “drag” function from the right for about a week when I had the car, but my ten year old daughter just reached across and dragged it and said “that’s what you do dad” 🤦🏻‍♂️

I don’t get logo for that station either. Isn’t it something to do with them not broadcasting it?

The performance still surprises me when I put my foot down. Found a real sweet spot when approaching roundabouts/ turns, using paddles 2nd gear around 30mph 3-4 k revs plant your foot and it just takes off.

Performance is great on-boost. Pootling about in D then putting your foot down, it takes an absolute age to get going.

Agreed, but it's very easy to quickly switch between D and S with the shifter so really it is the best of both worlds - relaxing most of the time, easily switched into snarly-mode when required :)

I checked other stations, but even if they have active logo, it takes the same space as placeholder for ones without logo. So regardless of logo or lack of it, half of space is wasted and I don't see song info and have to click one more time for more details.

Not sure if others have noticed but if you roll backwards in the car (reverse gear NOT engaged) the rear camera activates. Dropped my daughter off and rolled back from a car parked in front and discovered this.
