What did you and your MK2 do today?

Picked up some cheap Cupra Orion alloys the other day (had just fitted them after the first pic, so suspension hadn't settled after jacking car up). Anyone want to buy some 18" Leon FR Andromedas as pictured in my sig ?

Removed slotted front grill and replaced with a lovely new honeycomb one, looks much better

Not strictly speaking today or even to do with the Leon, but our company policy is to use hire cars for work if it's cheaper than paying mileage, so I had a 1.2 petrol Corsa the other day and despite driving within the speed limits I managed a whole.... 34mpg! Makes me feel a lot better about day to day average of 30ish in my car!
I still have the backache from the Corsa though...

Also took delivery of my cheap splitter like Dan's a few pages back. Was only £10

Next up is getting it booked in for timing belt an fitting of H&R's.

I removed the ugly copa stickers from the doors, washed the outside... and did some customizations using the carista dongle and app I recently acquired.

* dial sweep
* beep on lock/unlock
* changed indicator blink to 4 flashes

But this time I'm Going to put the proceeds of the sale towards a house purchase.Boring I know.

I'll more than likely regret selling, but ideally need more space & a garden for the family and a garage would be nice too.
