Ha nah I weigh them in lol. It's just an idea cuz atleast he'll have all the trim plastics dash seats loom and that. Smoke damage is a twat aswell as the water. Wouldn't take him long to swap it all over and the project continues. As I've said before all the money he's spent on mods he will always get a fare bit back when he breaks it so buying a cheap £1000 shitter won't really hurt in the long run ;)

Or mk2 golf k04 hybrid forged ooooosshhh! Everything from that Ibiza will fit straight in running gear subframe straight swap. Big bumper version though.

Guess I better join Facebook and join the mk3 breakers club.

Think I'll be keeping the k04 setup and heading for something with k04 as stock and something to aid traction :)

This is really sad and disappointing news! There are lots of quality parts which you have and it'd be great if you could enjoy them in another guise. I guess that the Ibiza is not economically salvageable? I hope you find something that you're really happy with buddy. Keep us updated :)

When I was at bills they were working on a hybrid one in that rare purple colour looked stunning with the blue suade seats. Forging it they were. But yeah facelift if any so 51 plate onwards they look the best. Can pick them up cheap milage doesn't matter if your rebuilding it.

Really is sad seing allt hat work being put down the drain by some jealous twats.
All the parts that you would get off this (that wouldnt fit on your next) would be worth a sale to help fund the next motor or more engine parts.
I do hope you get this sorted through insurance or off your own back. Safe to say that judging by the ibiza, whatever you come back with, will be stunning!!

You'll not get back what you paid for your parts if you sell them. So either insurance claim for what you can which puts your premium up on you, hateful. Take your parts off it and get the car wrote off and get a cheap, if you can, donor shell and drop your stuff into it. Or fix it up yourself and keep your premiums down.

Insurance is a PITA defo. I'll be sorting without them defo.

holy crap really sorry to see this in such a state from your last updates its not even like there was anything inside the car really worth having.
i hope it all works out for you mate.
edit what i mean by my first comment is because of the car being stripped right out.

Thanks mate. Berg mentioned a simian thing also about beeping broken into and finding nothing not even a tape player or carpet lol

Thanks James, ill defo keep updating. Really disheartening as I was really happy where the car was going and performing. It's beyond repair for sure. Next car will being going the same reroute as yours LCR and tuffys S3, dead tidy OEM looking with added touches hidden away doing a job.

Awesome base to start with 151144314848

Yeah defo. Seen that blue nice colour, same as that purple. There's a purple one on pistonheads with blue seats proper tiding looking just wish I had some cash hanging about.

What about doing a sleeper. Not to many people know about the mk1 skoda Octavia 1.8t 4*4. Very rare but also cheap as chips and not overly heavy for the room they have inside. Lighter than an s3, if I'm not mistaken, by a small amount but definitely a good bit more room. The time warp sleeping tardis. :)

If you turn the skoda into 4x4 it won't be lighter. They look **** aswell.

You don't turn it into a 4*4, skoda produced one for a time from the factory. It was called an elegance. Some of them may have been specified with leather. It has a haldex system, not sure which mark as a believe they have different revisions with tweeks compared to the likes of the R32. As for looks I'd say it would have to be more doctor Quinn medicine woman than Lady Gaga. :D

See the vultures landing already and she's not even cold. Any chance of getting your arb's ha ha. Only joking with a slight jag, I've more than enough to be getting on with. Doesn't quite compare with your trouble though.
