No i wouldnt imagine it would be slow with 240bhp, just wouldnt have the same thrill yet haha. Yeah i know what you mean, even 70 in the iniza and you know of it.
So any idea of the ultimate plans? Will you be going as far as the ibiza? Or just keeping it running well and clean?
Tbf its not good atall what happened to the ibiza, but the turnout is pretty damn great eh. Wouldnt wish for anyones car to be damaged in any way, especially a car that has had so much time and effort spent on it. But it really has worked out well

Won't be going as far as the Ibiza, that was brought to go balls out from the start.

With this ill tweak a few things. As you know I don't like lag so these turbos producing pretty good numbers is a plus and I'm a big fan of the go kart feel so a few handling mods and traction mods are on the cards for sure.

Still well gutted about the Ibiza. Especially having parts stored away everywhere to take it further. But it's done me well now, I put 50 quid of my pay packet to buy the leon every other penny was from breaking the Ibiza and now the last bits went on Thursday/Friday just gone I got some fuel money too

Missing piece of the puzzle. Was very stressful and worring trying to get these lol there wider than the Ibiza version, although the Ibiza clamp fits its half the size and seems to let the rack move/flex side to side.

I've read this entire thread from start to finish over the past couple of days and have been massively impressed and inspired

Started off giving me massive inspiration for my ibiza, then i was saddened to see it was being broke for parts, then boom it was back on track to be built into even more of a masterpiece and then finally just gutted for you with the break in/ fire!

Roller coaster ride that's for sure but either way epic thread and epic car!!!
