Thats only a name now, they produce some brilliant cars, the astra vxr being one. They have come a long way since the older models which im sure most would agree were rank

I have a mate with 2 of them locked in his lockup. I think after the mk1 they just went downhill untill the mk5. The mk4 gsi was not bad but nothing on the vxr in my eyes.
I appreciate anyone who likes any type of car, at the end of the day, not everyone likes my ibiza lol
But.... Id love a vectra vxr, think im pushing 40 instead of 23? Haha

You wouldn't love a vectra vxr trust me! Big shitty boat. Doesn't turn corners at all. The mk4 there all rolling vxr engines now lol.

Haha thats true, even the mk3s still on the road are running vxr engines now. I have a mate who just broke a stage 3 vxr engined corsa c, that was dramatic

Yeah the vectra is terrible had one few years back picked it up cheap. Comfy and smooth but rattley horrible build quality. After it got slated for bad cornering on topgear they revised it....ppfffttt so they said. It was crap and doing pretty much anything bar going straight on lol.

St220 is miles better. Just not as fast.

Can't say I'm a fan of the Astra or Corsa VXRs...driven mostly by a very specific type of person up here. Money could be spent on something much tidier or faster or nicer sounding depending on what it's bought for.

Nurburg ones are a step up though.

Yeah thats him, he must live quite close to you lol. It was mapped with the standard engine just not for the stage 3 he put in after iirc?
