I saw a clip of a stage 1 335d beating a stage 2 bi turbo s4 to about 150mph then the s4 drew the beam back in again up to 175 mph. I do like the s4 better though and you can run them on autogas. Driving normal it works out about the same cost as running a 115bhp tddi mondeo. or in and around 65 miles to a tenner of fuel.

I'd like first dibs on your anti roll bars but now is not a good time. Too much going on.

20.5 mpg from a stage 2 s4 is good, works out about 33.5 mpg equivalent on autogas. 1.8t economy for Porsche chasing performance. :)

The mate has an early s4, 100 floor pan, with the straight five engine and turbo upgrade making 420bhp and he says he's doing well if he gets 22 driving easy to normal on a straight level five mile run with no traffic lights or similar. It's a Ferrari beater, well 186mph on the gps.

I was going to get an A6 bi turbo manual saloon but it just didn't feel right, seen it back on gumtree a couple of months later, wonder why.:D

I guess I'll just have to settle for a remapped 7.5 sec 0-60 mph audi a6 1.8t in the meantime, that is if I can get my boost pressure sorted. New 710n valve on today and it's still boosting to 1.25 bar, dropping back to a bar and then after lifting off it only boosts to 0.5 bar. :(
