Just bought another cupra r bumper to try and make some money on! Comes with fogs lower grills splitter and undertray! Also finally sourced some top suspension strut caps as mine are broken and don't compliment the strut brace at all!

What are you looking for - what colour?

It's black, not sure which black but I think it might be sold to Chris with the black fr I looked after for on here, if he doesn't want it ill message you in here! The thing is, we're both in different deserts at the moment, I've got a week left but he's out for a further month, so it could be tricky as I deploy again not long after he gets back, ill let you k ow Mark.

Also some proper 225/40/18 tyres for the wheels.... Goodyear! Can drive around with the splitter fitted again when they're on!! Plastic dip too, my overdraft killing plans have gone out the window haha!

Here is a list of what is to come.
New rubber,
LCR brembos,
new 2wd rear 256 brake carriers (got r32 at the moment so they've been ground down and spaced out to fit)
strut top caps,
SFS turbo inlet pipe and coolant hoses,
matte black plastic dip for the wheels until I get them refurbished, depending on how much is left, I might do the roof.
and little things like a decent aux cable, wheel nut cap remover, oil filter cap removal tool and cree reverse lights.
Also have the LCR bumper, but I'm not 100% on its condition, it'll need a respray I think.
She's in with Bill again on the 12th August this time to finally finish the stage 1!

I've read it about 6 times for ideas! Don't recall anything about it? Ill have a read now. A few people on here don't seem to have any trouble with it? Cheers for the heads up though!

Also remember seeing yours in piston heads just before I bought mine, if only I had £1000 more to spend :( what a car.

Just ordered a few more goodies too, Sounds like you have a nice collection coming along also! You going to get yours mapped with Bill or somewhere else? You'll be smiling once she's mapped!
Yes, either R Tech or darskside i think.

Really want a R32! :(

they are awesome, but also consider the extra tax, insurance and MPG etc. I have been tempted by a MK4 or MK5 R32 myself, but the millage i do, i have to stick with a tdi

Quite a big update.
Started ripping out the interior on Tuesday as the old roof lining had sagged something chronic....

Stripped the top half.

This is the colour difference between the two linings.

The finished product. Big thanks to seal, cupra barn and ronin for getting it all out of an LCR they're breaking!

Missing an a pillar due to a nomad pillar being rubbish. I'm getting a refund though and picking up a vent pod tomorrow.

Whilst I was at it I ripped the boot apart to fix this little buffer that has been popped for about 6 months, also changed the boot light bulb as the water that had leaked from the washer had corroded the bulb. This has solved my fuse blowing problem when I open the boot :D

Also on Tuesday I had these taken off....

and replaced with 4 Goodyear efficient grip performances. £120 a corner fitted but at least they're the right size now!

I had them replaced due the the height and ride of the car with the 215/35/18's on, this is how low it was.

Bit of bad news however, the car stalled as I put the clutch in last night and would crank but not fire up. (Or compress up I suppose?) it was due to the silicone fuel lines I put on swelling and I king in air, and when I took the filter out to check it I thought I'd put the pipes on the wrong way so the engine was trying to use the return so fill the cylinders but obviously this wasn't enough fuel. However looking at photos I think I may have got them mixed up when I fitted them :/ anyway, the engine doesn't stutter under hard acceleration anymore :)

Car got recovered to mine last night, then recovered to SEAT this morning where they diagnosed a fuel problem and fixed it, but they washed the car too! So a £65 car wash!

And today, because I had no car I thought I'd get in with some stuff I've got to go on the car.
Re did the engine cover in plastic dip to practice, quite happy with it!

Now I plan on doing the expansion bottle and the washer fluid bottle in the matt black too.

And the best bit, I gave the brembos a lick of paint, only a quick refurb as eventually I'll get all new seals etc.

Also did the middle of the discs as they're off the car and pretty rusted.

I'm going to sell my 225 steering wheel in order to get an r32 one, always wanted an r32 but I'll have to do with just the steerer!
Cheers for looking.
