Love it really brings the car to life especially the noise of the exhaust with the pops and bangs :drive1:

I miss the pops and bangs! Need to get modding mine, not sure how much I would get from a DSG though?

DSG will withstand anything you put through it, 400hp + depending on which box you have ( 6 speed wet clutch)

Sorry my bad I meant the pops and bangs on the over run, I'm guessing it wouldn't quite make the same sounds

See you hear this a lot, and there is evidence for it. But now even the new 2013 SEATS have it so that the most powerful DSG model ends at 320ft/lb torque, and manual goes to 380 or something? They don't seem to want to go over that 350 line with DSG in a Leon

Yeah decided I'm not willing to pay £45 in petrol and 5 hours of driving to be able to wash my car, especially since its going to rain!
I need to give it a wax and polish, not had one in a few months!

Filled up with 77 quids worth of fuel then took it to the local hand car wash for a clean as I couldn't be arsed. Was going to go for a spin but as my torque appears to be missing it feels flat as a pancake. :(

Went home for a bacon sarnie instead! :D

Washed yesterday it needed it badly. Then stuck on my new rear spoiler, it's still on this morning! Not going to drive it until tomorrow morning, it's been pissing down all day anyway. Got the winter tyres on already (had a puncture a few weeks back so decided to swap over then) if it clears up this afternoon might go out and give it a bit of a winter check. Oh and the service interval light came on yesterday, more money again!

Waiting for the rain to stop. Started a full detailing session yesterday, then distractions got in the way, then it was dark, Washed, clayed, and half polished. So badly want the rain to stop so I can finish polishing and get some wax on.

Maybe even fit the splitter on if I get chance.

Did you tape off the tyres? Also how many cans will i need to do mine (16's) what size were the cans you used? How much and how long did it take? Sorry for so many questions :)

Nope that's why you can see plasti dip peeling off the tyre :) you can tape it off but because it peels off it's not needed.
It's recommended 1 can per wheel (4-5 coats) and the size is 311 grams I think! The cans are about £16-£17 each. It doesn't take too long, 1st coat is a light cover (50% transparent) and leave for 30 mins to bond. Then apply the other coats with about 15-20 mins in between. Just shake the can properly otherwise it'll look a little lumpy like in my pictures!
