Can anyone with a FL Cupra (R)? get any pics of their front skirt where it's black instead of body coloured? I want to get mine wrapped, but not sure where the colour needs to finish/the shape of it.

Also - does the black go all the way under to the back of the bumper piece or just slightly so it's out of view?

Ta!

This of any use to you mate.
Mine is done all the way under the bumper to the back, just in case I'm underneath it I'd know it wasn't done.
Also mine is painted as I couldn't get the wrap done well enough.

They're great, thanks! Does the paint go back in a straight line then all the way to the back underneath? (if you catch my drift?) How much did it cost you for the paint job? That may be an option for me, but I want it matte black, not gloss.

Just straight back from the end if the taper. Done mine gloss to match the top part which is already gloss.
My mates a painter so it never cost me anything I put handbrake cables and rear pads on his golf.

A good trade indeed. I'll take a drive this week and ask a few questions!

Thanks again, mate. Appreciate it.

They look good...how did you find applying it and the finish? I bought some the other day and sprayed my rear view mirror and the finish was awful...looked like it trapped small air bubbles and when it dried it looked like they had popped. It also came out not in a nice spray but more like spitting....really not happy with the stuff at all! Perhaps it's a faulty nozzle?

To be honest the finish isn't so good. My first 3 coats went on with the nozzle, as you said, spitting. My 4th coat was very good because I shook the can more than it says on the instructions. It really does make a big difference! Also I watched a few videos and found that the first coat wants to be a light one, still allowing 50% transparency through! Then you build it up each one.

Currently doing the rear of my car but here's the grill and front badge:

I did the same...shook it for a few mins then did the faint layer but still looked naff. May try again on some other things as practice....ended up wrapping the mirror in the end!
