Today I washed the car, then clayed 2/3rds of it. Couldn't finish due to getting very low on clay lube and daylight, so the rest of the claying and some wax is next weekends job.

Yesterday I attacked the car with Tardis so now it has no tar spots any more. Also replaced the R badges.

Should have clear laquered the badges before you put them on matey. They look better and last much longer...:p

Took advantage of the good weather so cleaned her inside and out :D
Inside was treated to full clean of seats as well - not that they needed it but smells a whole lot better now

That occurred to me once I'd started the job but it wasn't exactly a hassle swapping them and they weren't really expensive either so if they get trashed I'll do em again. Planning on changing the car next year too so they only have to last until it's sold :)

I've added...blue leds to the courtesy lights. Chrome gear surround and vents. white dials.Black and white leather gear gaiter. And sprayed some internal plastics gloss white. Looks awesome against the black leather :)

Well yesterday I had the full intention of refurbishing my Brembos. Went to Halfords, bought all the gear, made a start only to realise that when I bought the car back in May.....I wasn't given a locking wheel nut key.........Feck!!

Went back to Halfords to buy a tool to remove it and it didn't work and damaged the center of my black wheels instead.......Feck!

Managed to smooth/drill the airbox and fit a Green panel filter though!

If they are original Seat/VW lock nuts, go to a dealer, they have the key (a whole set of keys) so you can unlock it. Might be better to buy a new set (like Mcgard or whatever) before you go ;)

Don't know what original one's look like but mine look like they could fit a massive star shaped key in them.

Already bought new McGard ones when I bought the removal tool from Halfords.

Would the stealers charge a fortune for this?

They removed mine for free. My car was delivered without the nut key (found out months later when wanting to buy new rims, sigh)
