Really good looking SC ;)!! I love the carbon parts in the interior

Why thankyou :D

After having seen a carbon effect flip key in another thread and was a bit bored tonight so had a go at doing my own...

Done using Hexis carbon wrap, not one of the covers Davy can source from Spain. Wasn't the easiest job in the world and took a fair bit of manipulation but I got there :)

Not a bad effort at all I think :p

Spoiler is fitted at last!!! :D Left my car with my mate at the weekend to be fitted while I was away in Northampton. Perfect colour match this time and looks great! Really finishes it off :D

Will try and get some updated pics of the whole car as soon as the weather clears up

Hello Mate

Loving every thing you have done with your car :)

Did you ever get around to wrapping the area around the rear number plate??

Cheers

Dan

Thanks Dan, no haven't got round to it yet, that's the next thing on my list. Should be done in the next month or so. My local dealer who we've been buying off for about 14 years (we're his best customers lol) said they were going to run a small feature on my families current cars which will appear in the Seat newsletter so want it all sitting mint for that [B)]

Ive hopefully got a quote for doing it coming to me at some point this week. If mine gets done first il post u a pic :)

All ur carbon wrapping looks wicked. did u take all the bit off or do them in place?

Also on your FR grill did u spray or wrap the chrome bit?

The head unit surround and door handles were done off the car but the speedo cowl had to be done in situ, it was a lot trickier due to the shape, it curves in 2 directions. The top was done first then removed the silver dial surrounds and did the bottom part.

The FR grille was sprayed gloss black

Tis a bit tricky doing the cowl but if you take your time n think ahead it's not that hard, you need the patience of a saint though

Cheers mate. There is a seam along the edge of the cowl but it's not that noticable and I'm gonna trim it back a little to make it less noticable. Don't think you can make it out in the photo's anyway

That really looks stunning mate! I actually prefer it to the fake carbon I had in the boc.

Cheers mate. I've used the 3M DiNoc stuff in the past and much prefer this Hexis stuff, much easier to work with and has a nicer weave pattern than the DiNoc too, cheaper too as well last time I checked. What'd you use in the boc?
