Eventually got the fire extinguisher fitted at about 10pm on saturday night just in time for the sunday trackday. Its only a 1kg one and looks very small now fitted might change to a 2kg one later on but its a nice piece of mind equipment
Installed in the boot

Which one?
Lower one is a honda integra type R (DC2) front upper brace from OMP, harder to get in uk now but OMP are based in germany so you might have more luck
Upper is a hughes engineering one, if you contact mike he does them in batches and only just done one so maybe have a few spare

Well on Sunday i popped off to Blyton park with Phillc to really give the car some grief.
Had a brilliant time and cant wait to go out on the track again, think i'll be booking up some time in the new year.
Anyway car stood upto it very well especially since the morning was still quite wet and slippy.
Both myself and phill took advantage of the free tuition that was thrown in too.
But car was so balanced and the pics i'll post further down all show it looking pretty flat everywhere.
Found it very forgiving too even when entering a corner at a very optimistic speed
Gripped well but if heavy right footed early it'd understeer with some very catchable lift off oversteer
Very planted and even Phill found you couldnt seem to push the car far enough to get it out of shape, if it did was so easy to control anyway.
So all in all very happy with its setup and how it handles only major thing i am considering now is a 2nd set of wheels with super grippy tyres.
Anyway here are some of the pics that phill took

Forgot to mention to my centre caps didnt like the abuse and decided to part from the car.
Also managed to get a lovely blue tinge to my disc's

Yes it does get the odd leaf on it etc, not good at all, lol.
DK cleans his more than mine mate, I'm not sure you'd get either near the track haha..

But in all seriousness, I'm aiming to get mine round Brands' for a gentle session by next summer. She should be ready then

Yeah will do mate. You done Brands' before? I've done the racemaster trackday in the megane 225 few years ago and then the formula palmer audi. Really fun track once you get in you groove!

How long do you think till you get the BT setup on??
