buggar all done today as my friend cracked is alloy and were too lumps missing so decided to tig it up

evern thow its runing well i personaly wont to start over with ms3 standalone ecu as it should be a better set up and live tuning too
next need to make 2 side pipes ,once ive rewired the engine bay

well new stanalone as arrive which is the megasquirt ms3 ecu an ill be somehow useing 6x ls2 coils
hopeing to get complete vag vr6 loom out an fully instail this

This is nothing short of epic - and there was me all chuffed at smoothing my own airbox lols - wish i could do 1% of the stuff in this thread :D keep it coming m8 awesome build

well evern thow caddys been runing and boosting well ,im going to fit a bigger engine , just for summer fun, which is a mk5 golf r32 engine 250bhp std , but thats not enoegh for me , ill turbo it
run down so far
so far stripped the lump , added a mk4 r32 forged crank to safe
headspacer,
modifyed some 530cc injectors,
made a alloy welded manifold
modifyed a mk5 fuel into a mk4 style
rewired the engine for ms3x and vvt wired up for extra bhp
added ls2 coils
trail started on the floor
ive got the gearbox in bits changeing ratios at mo,
then need to make a exhuast turbo manifold
then add hx40 turbo

mental mate, are you changing pistons etc?

I know the VR6 is over engineered loads, is the R32 the same, or can you only run low boost?

hi all only real reason ive knocked up and conveted this ,is because few trying to tell me a r32 is better then a old vr ,so ,im not conveinced lol , i know they flow better due to 24v head and bigger ports but , the 12v in my mind is better as i know the r32 wont hold 25psi without blowing up , so like i do just proveing a point ,:lol:

stock mk5 r32 250bhp with basicly modifyed injectors, standalone, headspacer, i reckon 15,20psi and it pops :lol:

cheers pal , well a few more for you ,,
new manifold arrived arrived and thought id do a trail fit ,all seems good,,,..but hit a issiuse
didnt realise these manifolds are for t25 turbos , and mines a t3 ,, sdue to were external wastgate is shown, its in the wrong place , so that turbo intake is wrong way as well ..
so bit of adapting is needed first manifold

then chopped t25 flange off and welded a cast t3 flange on along with ,moving external wastegate too

notice now the intakes on the left and not on right ,

notice were old wastegate is now , ill just make a blanking plate , so then manifold can be used both ways

fits good , also i can now not only fit a turbo either way , but also spin the intake snail 360deg for any pipe angle ,,
