Cheers ill double check later tonight. This is a wee pic of the tensioner bolt where it just stops tightening!

yep looks like its been tensioned way too far , remove it , fully realse it then bleed it in oil half way ,

Found the problem mate the threads on the inside of the block dont go all the way in so i need a m22 x 1.5 tap to finish it off then the bolt will go fully in! Some of the older vr6 engines come like this but others are threaded the whole way through!

How are your projects coming along anyways?

well ive just learnt something there myself , something ive never ever come across lol , not bad cheers staying at 15psi starts boosts runs , ok i supose

now removed tge forged motor .and fitted a 2.0 pd td in it due to running costs and new arrival to family

If you went for a GTB2260vk on a tubular mani, 300bhp is achievable with the right injectors. Problem being finding said injectors, as nobody has really done much with the PPD engines yet. The siemens management/injection is a pig to work with.

little hint i have some nozzles :)

And knocking a manifold up .yearh i thought of the gtb2260vk .reckon there better then the gt2552 ..carnt seem to find anything better at mo guys .removed pd 170 turbo started on a diy manifold....
