well decided to make a little start on a homemade short runner as im having heat soak issiues in high boost, problem is in a mk1 room is tight , ie front rad/fans/rear 6speed gearbox and transforbox near steering rack so unsure how it may turn out , first old engine picture

I hope so,its awesome!
cheers let me tell you something that dam downpipe was a chuffing nightmare as trying to get a 3inch pipe bent around to miss servo then undermanifold misinf 6speed gearbox the making room between transforbox.drive/steering rack ,then out between prop and chassi , very limited in a mk1 :D

i have just spent the last 4days working my way through this thread

O M F G !!!!!!!

what gave you the idea to start the build in the 1st place???

i think its awesome
well basicly started as a bit of fun , from a old 1.6 4speed oil burner , i thought id just add a vr , then thing progressed to 6speed , turbos , then couldnt get tracksion so , thought id thow a electric 2/4wd system , helped loads, with steering been heavy just modifed a caddy van dash, fitted vr6 clocked rewired a few bits , and carried on from there really ,, missed one lol
