With the low profile tyres (205/45/16's) I had to put this block under the wheel to get the jack out

REALLY NEED TO LOWER IT NOW

On a side note car turned 115000 today

according to http://www.alloywheels.com/tyrecalc.asp

my speedo will be out now when it shows 70mph I will be doing 65.21

because standard 225-45/17 circumference was 1992.71mm
new 205-45/16 circumference is 1856.37
-136.34mm -6.84%

whats the biggest profile you can get / fit for 16s then

im not bothered about speedo , aslong as im doing under what speedo says

reasons being mines lowered and wana raise it up abit to avoid all the ice/slush theat gathers inbetween the tracks on roads , i resently scrapped a load , and need to inspect it when possible to see if ive damaged anything



mark keep your eyes peeled for me then


i did txt u yesterday asking for that tyre place u goto , mine are now racing slicks , spend have the journey spinning , and TCS is fighting a loosing battle

I know they came with the 45 so when I kill these I will replace with 55 profile

Looks good, Ive been eying up a set of 16s just not sure they will fit over the new brakes!

16" clear 312mm brakes, not sure about brembo's though.

205/55/16 are the "tallest" you can fit.

no Andrew that would give you the same ride as you standard starfish wheels

doh ,, do they do monster truck tyres for them so it can pick her back up to your ride height

like the old 13" wheels from years back

it would also fill those arches too

you could run bigger tyres but your speedo would be out - under reading

wudnt bother me as such , could work out via satnav then stick to the adjustments etc

aslong as the floor is up away from the ice and **** in the middle of the roads ,

when its snow its not bad , when that bits turned to solid ice , its same affect as concrete , could damage lots of vital buts underneath , £££££

only now seen them pics , them arches have had an argument with your tyres i think

if u had to use the brick to lower it again , u reckon id have trouble??
