Brad listen ... I do understand , I don't want one end of if I did want a new turbo it would be some thing big and worth while , but I don't have the need for silly power , my stage 2 is more than enuf , if I didn't have little one then it would be a different story , any way enuf of making this thread a mess , :)

Hello,

Yeah this hose is a mother trucker to remove, I had to use a hack saw on the part that connects to the rear of the engine, I just could not get the steel clamp off so i sawed it. Also I just measured the hose i used to replace it, it was 8mm.

Thanks

Thanks very much for that!

Looking forward to reading more progress on this, makes me want a hybrid :)

Cheers, the car could make a bit more without the 3" TIP, as there was a boost leak during the mapping so fuelling is slightly off, so the next port of call is to have the map tweaked again followed by and RR, then hopefully Bills TIP might be ready for Christmas, this will be a big improvement I'd say.

Well i was out logging tonight and after a few tweaks to the map i loaded up lastnight i pulled a 249.5G/S out on the road, so going by the .80 rule thats abouts 311.8Bhp, nice.

I also logged this after the runs:

Guess i kinda new that was coming .

I also treated the car to a new set of Eagle F1's( i forgot how good these tires are :)), she deserves it after the abuse she has received over the past few weeks.

Fueling is looking a LOT happier, could only do 3rd gear runs :-(

congrats thats excellent power. hope you can squeeze that extra 15bhp from it.. maybe bills 3" TIP IS the key ;)

ive subscribed

Cheers, yeah i can't wait for this, my airflow seems to be stuck at 250g/s and this TIP is the key me thinks.

 My fave LCR. Everything you have done is to such a high standard. Well played

Thanks, i am actually considering doing some of the engine components again except fully chromed and more braid hoses and some de-cluttering.I would love to do something with the battery, it takes up soooo much space, i don't want to move it to the boot, maybe a smaller battery and a custom housing might help as i would like to remove the 2 90 degree bends before the throttle body on the IC pipework.

Yep deffo...his and probees are my faves.

Man i love Probees car, its even a compliment to be associated with his work. Thanks

beware of more timing if those were 3rd gear runs... 5th/6th will load more and usually pull more timing

Why so Bill, also 4/5th gear runs are near impossible to do due to the speed, I know 3rd isn't ideal as there isn't as much load but it's the best I can do :(

its more load...... 4th/5th/6th... will pull more loads, thats all.
just saying, if you judge your max timing by the 3rd logs, when you load it up in 6th up hill, i would be wary of even higher cf's.

just something to watch

I loaded up a new tweaked map today that i recieved and did some logging in 4th gear, the problem with the boost spiking to 1.6bar and then back down to 1.2bar and then building again is now fixed, i couldn't go above 5500rpm due to speeds but the new map is a lot nicer, get an initial spike of 1.6/7 bar then it pulls back to 1.5bar and is still pulling 1.45 at 5500rpm.

I noticed a huge difference in the car when logging, 4th really creates more load and shows up more variations in boost levels, i cant wait to get this back on the dyno now.

A few degrees of timing was also pulled back as it wasn't gaining me anything, still have about 13degrees of advanced timing(thank you WMI) so i can't complain.

I would say the next dyno graphs will be a lot smoother without the twin peaks feature LOL

Bill what dyno do you have? Would you recommend bigger injectors(currently 440cc) with the new TIP and changes, there started to cycle at about 85-90% already
