Use a thin screwdriver underneath where the two halfs join. when enough use your fingers or something else to pull them apart.

Ok Cheers mate will give it another go... just worried about snapping something :-o

Take 2 here we go....

i've been having issues with my car filling up and steaming up inside. I attacked it the other week and dried it all out or so i thought. But t kept steaming up so i pulled the trim off in the back and pulled the carpet up. Even though the carpet was dry the thick insulation underneith was drenched. when i lifted that i had half an inch of water sat in the bottom of my car. so it ended up with the seats out so i could get the insulation out. I had to cut it with a stanley where it went over the tunnel in the middle. But if your car is still steaming up or smells damp its probably because its carring its body weight in water around with it!

Right seal trimmed and carpet vaxed.

Will see how we get on. Wash the car after modifying the seal. Blasted it with the hose and tipped several buckets of water over the drivers door. So far so good. :D

What a long day, managed to get the seals done without to much trouble, hardest part was trying to take off the door handles which Lee helped me with
Then spend most of the time pulling up the carpet and sponging up about a 3 pints worth of water up which was not much fun as its really soaked in... but will try and dry out with one of those Dehumidifier.

Thanks to all for the help, saved me lots of money by not taking it down the stealer to be fixed. Also made that end of the day pint down the pub even more deserving / sweeter

As i received so much help from you lot i thought i would be helpful back by taking a load of pics Enjoy
