I just wished there was more products out there for deisels, nearly everything has to be custom made. If you want things done properly it takes time and money.

That’s true, I am trying to find some clips now for the hoses ( I hate jubilee clips and prefer the oe type clips) but trying to find a supplier that doesn't want you to buy by the 1000's is proving difficult.

Phil if you need guys to chip in to make it worth while buying these clamps just give us a shout with the sizes, there's bound to be more guys looking for these too.

I might just do that, i have found a company in Canada that do the ones i'm after just need my Vernier's to arrive and i can measure all the hoses i want them for.

Hi Bill, yes i do, i prefer these i cant see any problem with them they hold up to 20 bar which suits me fine.

PS. my out of the box thinking on the K04 was doomed as the turbo hits the Manifold, oh well i will sell the K04 and look at the hibrid K03s, cheaper than replacing my turbo back system and INA hiflow mani

Thanks, the hoses are silicon and i got them from ebay it's 19mm.

Well i have spent the last day working on the car i have fitted a set of LCR wishbones and new bushes (TT), new ball joints and hubs fitted with nice new bearings, LCR steering arms and ball joints, then had a 4 wheel alignment done with the old wish bones and hubs the wishbones pointed upwards where they should be level not good, also i kept splitting the inner cv joint gator, so very happy now feels very good, and the wishbones are nice and Level. Thanks to Ronin225 for removing the old bushes and fitting the new ones I also fitted my new Awsome 180 degree thermostat and 3 pole fan switch, loads of fun with the termostat.

Yes the ones in the LCR wishbones where a lot harder to get out than the LC one's, when i did those i did them my self.

Did you get the geometry set up as per LCR or LC?

It was a generic setting for the Leon 00-05, it feels good its strange though the steering feels alot lighter not sure why as i didn't change the rack.

Only joking.... Did you use new bolts all the way through when doing your wishbones & hubs, Phil?

Yes nice shiny new bolts right through (well except the wishbone bolts they where sort of blue colour), did you replace the steering arms with the LCR ones?

It just changes the geometry, when you lower the LC the wishbones point upward which is not good(I an not an expert hopefully some one will explain better) the LCR hubs and wishbones remain level when lowered, mine is lowered 50mm that's from the stock leon so on the LC i think its about 30mm, i have not driven it to much as the MOT has run out as well as the tax, had the MOT yesterday and it failed on the head lights so going back tomorrow to sort it out. (blinding on coming traffic)

That is very interesting indeed. Looking forward to a little more indepth review - if its worth it then will definitely go for it tbh. Guessing front ARB, bushes and suspension has to be changed?

Yes the arb will need to be done as you loose the mounting points on the wishbones, in the case of the bushes i replaced both front and rear, the fronts are totally different from the Lc but i replaced them with OE LCR ones but the rears are solid on the LCR (same as the TT ones) so i stuck with them (new), the Weitech kit comes with LCR ARB fittings and fit the LC, i got these first and you can fit them to the LC without changing anything, i then changed the ARB to the R32 23mm one, and then the hubs and wishbones.

I think the LC is 80% LCR now
