It takes about 10 minutes to change this chocolate pipe to a silicone one.

Total cost 19 pounds. Genuine part costs around 27 pounds.

Imo choice is quite simple :)

That pipe that is going to DV is it 19mm as well ? Got some silicone left. I might change it if its same diameter.

Good shout Tony !

Have you measured foglight? Will it fit nicely?

Thanks for tip. I learn from the best hehe.

just measured this all up tonight

fog light is a around 70-75mm so fitting the 75mm trumpet will do the job perfectly

you could squeeze an 80mm trumpet in, but would require some of the casing being cut/sanded down, and I just wanted a closest to OEM fitment as possible

I'm looking into changing all bushes on my car. I found a polish company that does some polyurethan ones. Should be cheaper than powerflex but no idea about quality yet. Guys on polish forum are happy about them.

Anyone used them ? They said yellow are really hard but red ones are ok for everyday use.

http://www.strong-flex.eu/

Also (i think this was on vortex forum) i read that polyurethan is not really recommended for rear bush as its too stiff and bar doesnt work on same axis. Just take a look at this gif and you will know what i mean.

Anyone can comment on that ?

nice:D

with that size FMIC, you shouldnt have to cut away too much, if any, of your bumper

i had to lose both fogs and the housing to get my one of those on, managed to keep the grills though.... just. fogs are crap anyway

thats on a facelift bumper aswell, its the ic piping that gets in the way. not the cooler itself

Few photos from last FMIC installation. It was really hard work for me. I guess I'm not really a great mechanic as others did it in 5 hours and i took about twice as long :D (And bumper is still not on the car !). Taking bumper off took me long time - it was first time i did that).

Im exhausted and im worried that I will have a lot of problems with putting bumper back on.

dont worry about the bumper too much, have you tested to fit?

just make sure you have taken the guides off the car and fit to bumper first, then it will only go back on 1 way.

looks good though mate, and youll be impressed with the temp reduction

Looks smart mate, wish they'd have bought this cooler kit out a couple of months earlier before I made mine from scratch

Don't surpose you know the part number for your jetex do you? :)

I remember.

It is FR 07003. It has rubber top not chrome (chrome top is FC 07003). Best to order from Bill. Cheaper than from Jetex.
