On the straights maybe Car was feeling great! Tyres started to fade towards the end but to be honest they were a state when we finished so no wonder!!
Nah no news yet on selling her. I am looking into the price of these race minis as there's one for sale at KH. Then maybe (a big maybe) get into a few of the races. But I mean this is a long shot but I am thinking about it...

Used to have a 205 Gti with a gti6 engine, 180 bhp and was awesome fun to drive.
Have you had it rolling roaded yet? As LAD always have a rep for overquoting power figures, and you will struggle to get the enough airflow for 195hp out of the 8valve cylinder head. Looks a fantastic one though!

No probably not going to get it rolling roaded as it feels great, so not really much point!
It's running the 1.6 GTi box.
I used to have a couple of 205 gti's in my yoof lol. Awesome little cars, always wondered how quick they could be with the right kit bolted on. I'm very jealous!

How do you like the Webers? I know several people who kept adjusting them, they never could keep them ok for long.
Yeah you have to keep adjusting the webbers to keep them running sweet. Got to love the note you get off them on full chat though!

Wow buddy, we have ALOT in common, I had a 125sx untill literally a few months ago, (no time to ride moto , also have a mk3, and me and my dad (well i say me and my dad i went with him lol) bought a 205 track day weapon.....
Unfortunatly its now also for sale,
2L Pinto in her, and all that fun is going straight to the rear, as she's converted to RWD... its quite a toy !![[B)]](/forums/styles/seatcupra/oldforumsmileys/shades.gif "Cool [B)]")

It's got Twin 40 dellortos with a fully rebuilt engine. Sounds amazing and is in great condition. Only bit of body work to sort is to replace the doors and could do with a paint...
Going to get it set-up on Thursday and get a choke fitted
