Well i started to fit all the parts that have been building up in my garage plus some other bits and bobs that needed doing this is what i had to do.

New wishbones
TT bush's
New hub ball joints
track rod ends
R32 front arb 23mm
Weitech dampers
Rear top mounts
Fit new exhaust hanger
Clean Throttle body
Change gear box oil
Change engine oil
Remove the sump
fit new oil pick up pipe

Today i fitted the R32 arb, which meant dropping the sub frame which went very well, i have to thank Willie for his thread which pointed out all the pit falls and tricky bits and his good advice, without his pain i would have been lost so thanks again ;) i also got the wishbones fitted and one of the hub ball joints, exhaust hanger fitted.
So tomorrow all i have to do is the oil changes whip the sump off and change the pick up pipe, fit the other hub ball joint and the track rod ends and the drivers side damper, torque up all the new bolts and go for a test drive:D
Here are a few picks of what i have done.

Here she is all jacked up

Phill, do you have a ball ended allen key bit or a wobble/knuckle joint for removing the sump?
the bolts between the fly wheel and the sump are a PITA without these.
Do you have some silicon for re fitting the sump and a new pick up o ring?

Your car will feel great after all of this.

progress report
I have finished all the main work now,Today I did the track rod ends and fitted the drivers side damper and hub ball joint and the oil pick up pipe, which involved removing the sump, all the bolts are easy except the four inside the bell housing which are a PITA once I had found them, which took a while I managed to get them out.
The pickup had a sort of sludge in it so it was well worth changing, so after cleaning the sump and fitting the pipe I put the sump back on, all I can say is if you are going to do this be careful when putting the PITA bolts back in, one fell out and went into the fly wheel housing :censored: so I had to take the sump off and retrieve it, luckily it was just resting against the fly wheel.
So tomorrow I will do the gear box oil change if I can find an Allen key big enough then put it all back together and go for a drive, again thanks to Willie for his advice.

The biggest grin

If there was a SCN biggest grin competition i think i just won it:D, i have just come back after my test drive after fitting new weitech dampers (50mm), new wishbones fitted with TT bushes, new track rod ends, new hub ball joints and R32 front arb 23mm, the car feels brilliant, so tight, smooth and solid, you where right Willie the car feels so much better, this is the best bit of modding i have done yet( apart from the re-map) every thing went to plan except the gear box oil change due to me needing a 14mm hex and not having it, i have ordered one from flebay so i should be able to do it next week.
