Phill, really happy you have done this and have the same smile on your face as I did.
I got the nod about this one from some Octavia guys (same front end as LCR). They were right and we both know it now.
Shame no one else believes us

Well I am going to fit the intercooler tomorrow, I have also just ordered an exhaust mani from INA which will flow a lot better than the oe one and together with the piper turbo back exhaust sitting in my garage should free up some horses when fitted and the new map done, think I will be pretty maxed out on the stock Ko3s so hybrid after that, I have also booked it in to have some paint work done front bumper, skirts, roof rail things,( can you believe these are £160 EACH + Vat) door strips, a few stone chips on the bonnet, and some lacquer that has started to flake on the roof and drivers door, i will take some pics of the intercooler going on, i think i may have some issues as the cooler is 75mm deep and from what i have read 65mm is what i should have got Doh, LOL

Well it's done, thought it would take longer but it only took me the day the front mount is on and tested.
I found that i had bought a larger intercooler than other people so i had a few issues to deal with the first one was that it wouldn't fit behind the crash bar but a bit of work with the drill and all was well.

Crash bar as it was.

Then with all the spot welds removed.

4138194179_08ff4f70db_b.jpg

It now fits perfectly infront of the Intercooler.

4138983412_45332531ec_b.jpg

I then fitted the mounting for the top fixing.

4138224539_2680850366_b.jpg

Due to the cooler being bigger than i should have got it cought on the bottom of the bumper the bit behind the fog light grill, so i had to do a bit of trimming, the pipe work was spot on, i only needed to trim one pipe.

Right hand side.

4138998022_a2d737dd0c_b.jpg

I had to have the blue stuff that came with the pipe kit i will replace with red as and when.

Left hand side.

4138234661_cb43a1649c_b.jpg

Map pipe fitted and battery tray trimmed ( bit heath robinson but does the job)

4139008710_541dd0e2b9_b.jpg

All fitted and bumper back on.

I have taken it for a test drive and its great, i have gained 2-3 psi so happy with that, just the exhaust and Mani to do now before the re -map.
The fog lights dont fit in but i am going to make a cold feed from them to the filter. Oh and i did the gear box oil change.

Cheers mate, you've got your work cut out then :D yeah it’s the 65mm that I should have got, but saying that it’s not that much more work, it was the length that caused the most problems.

Looks good mate, but i really would get proper silicone asap, them crappy rubber ones will split under boost sooner than you think ;) Them crappy joiners do look very small joiners, dont look like theres enough room for two jubilee clips on them lol
