Yup im itchin to get it started..Hopfully have it Idling on saturday ''touch wood''

got my mate doing a full engine rebuild for £450 which aint bad...

Just pondering should i keep the valves and OEM springs or should i uprate them both..and raise the limiter a tad...

Could i up the limiter to 8200rpm and use New OEM Valves, springs and seals? or is it a must to uprate the valves and springs?

If you are going to raise the limiter above 7200rpm uprated valves and uprated springs is a must.

I would'nt personally run stock valves/springs beyond 7800rpm

you dont even know your power band so a bit early thinking what limiter is appropriate before you see the power delivery

Thanks bill i wasn't sure so its something i can do after ive got it mapped?

Jamie is was only a questoion you mong xxx:banned:

you can change springs later of course, but thinking of your rev limiter that high seems ott for what your spec is likely to deliver. keep the revs down unless you have a fully built motor, with hamonic balancer pulley, and a turbo which justtifies revving to the moon.
mapping will set the appropriate limiter as req'd
