And can I say a massive thanks to all of you that have supported me through this cos I've made a hell of a lot of new friends through this! So in a way it's been a good thing, but now I can sleep at nights again and hopefully de-stress!
TD sent the wrong turbo........
It all makes sence now. I'd be interested to see what TD say....
If I'm going to be honest, P-torque say they sent TD the right turbo - TD have just hybridded the turbo sent. So both seem to be saying it's each others fault.
It's between those two companies to sort out now anyway. But yes, definitely someone has dropped a bollock somewhere. No fingers are being pointed by me though.

At least you have got to the bottom of the problem now mate.
Like you said, if you sent a turbo off yourself then take it to someware to be fitted and mapped then you will know where to look if there is a problem.
Who you going to get to do the hybrid? CR turbos? Mapping?
Exactly fella. The new turbo will be done with Turbo Dynamics. Not sure on mapping yet. Still asking around.

Can't believe the outcome of this! I wasn't expecting the turbo to be the wrong one!

You and me both fella. You certainly don't expect that sorta thing to happen I must admit!
It will be done! If anyone can help me find a PD150 turbo, I will sent them a tinny or two.

Bet your exited but pissed off at the same time, Ash. excited for the new turbo to be done - which in return will give more power! And pissed that you should have had more power last week.
What were you're reasons for leaving p-torque as i'm sure with the proper turbo everything would have been smooth? Although i can imagine perhaps after all that you just want to try someone else?

Regardless of how long this thread goes on for the mapping was never the issue, there has been error by a third party, but I can't go into this on the forum.
It is best for Ashley to find someone more local to him.

Think it was the wrong part number. They didn't reply in time and didn't want to risk having ANOTHER turbo. I have a PD130 Garrett, a PD170 and the hybrid unit needing to be sent back! So three turbos atm!
Got a good idea where your going to take it for mapping, but wont say, just incase

Car is back to standard now! Got my KKK turbo back on and remap - and can I say - I LOVE IT!
First chance I had to properly "drive" my car in nearly a month last night - and I love it! Drove the same hilly/bendy road to my friends house last night that my car went into limp mode twice on last weekend, this weekend, nothing but smiles! The remap really isn't bad either! Just the fact that now I dont have overboosting or limp mode - it's great!
I never thought I'd be so happy going FROM hybrid to remap!
