Nor has yours..

I can't post up here every 5 mins, I am dealing with Ashley via e-mail

You must subtract 1000 to get the right figure.

I'm quite prepared to be proved wrong, but simply saying I'm wrong doesn't help anyone.

Where should I subtract 1000 from and why? I only worked with what I could see. If you can explain EXACTLY where my sums have gone wrong and what the real answer is then I will happily remove my post. There is no point having wrong information in here, but until its PROVED otherwise then I'm happy for my post to stay.

You shouldn't have to post up in here at all really. This problem is between Ash and yourself, so communication should just be between Ash and yourself.

This is a forum, people post up problems and issues all the time, and the general membership will respond with answers/speculation. I really don't get why you feel the need to respond to everything. Why not just let people speculate as they do on a forum and when the issue is resolved as I'm sure it will be in the end, then you will have the last laugh knowing what the problem was and why, and Ash will have a healthy car.

I hear what you're saying Rich...

calculation is:

vag com mbar - 1000mbar ambient = xxxxmbar boost

You then convert the final mbar figure above into bar or psi

Hope this helps ;)

Ok, I've redone the sums taking into account atmospheric pressure. I've now edited my post on the previous page. I greyed out my original statement so ppl can still see where I've gone wrong and why other ppl replied what they did, and put in bold the real answers underneath.

Apologies for the confusion, as you were.....

Right, I've got in touch with Will first. Now I will post on here.

I am going to get the turbo sent off myself. I will explain.

I live in Somerset. Will is based in Wolverhampton. That's about 150 miles north of me. Turbo Dynamics are based in Dorset. That is about 91 miles south of me. So basically, if I were to take my car to P-torque to get the work done, I'd be driving 150 miles out of the way, using my fuel. Then P-torque would have to take the turbo off, to then send it back PAST Somerset to get to Dorset! So I just don't see the logic.

I may aswell take the turbo off, send it myself. Save myself 300 miles of driving, £40 of fuel which I REALLY can't afford. While the car is off the road I'm gonna do the cambelt service on it. As it's due. So gonna get the cambelt service done, change oil etc so when I get the turbo back, the car should be running like new again.

dont need it either yet as i spose your still yet to experience the hybrid.
dont think you have posted a pic yet.
atleast while your turbo is away you get time for other things on the car like the cam belt and brakes.

Exactly!

I'll find a pic. They were more bloody hassle too! :(

Bought off ebay. They're actually two whole hubs. Thought I'd got a bargain. Cos they said they'd include discs, pads, hoses, calipers and carriers. Which they have! But as you can see, the discs are shot, the pads are shot, the hoses have been cut so basically the only good bit of the calipers and carriers!
