To fail after 2 hours of being new!?
Yea, but the problem that caused the map sensor to get damaged in the first place is still there.
Moving the MAP sensor will hopefully sort things out mate. Fingers crossed for you mate.

All I do know is that the map sensor has been changed and my bottom arm bushes have gone.
You can see where it is atm. So just flip that pipe over and HOPEFULLY all will be sorted! I'm literally praying it is! And my bottom arm bush is split in half apparently. Do they do a Cupra upgrade?
I'd say it was the left hand side one by the sounds of it but i'll do both while I'm at it.
where is the map sensor in that picture? is it in the top elbow?

oh i see. hopefully it is just a school boy error on your behalf then and wills right that its a oily sensor.
could be fatal with them bushes like that. i expect the extra power (hybrid) is pushing more oil over the sensor than what it was before the hybrid hence the pain in ass your getting.
them bushes are pressed in aswell arnt they?
Dont have a clue tbh! It's not knocking all the time, only on a decent bump. Might risk it tbh!
Are you talking about the TCA rear bush? If you are then you should be ok driving with them split as nothing will fall appart. I can imagine there are a fair few Ibiza driving around with split bushes! Get them upgraded to the Cupra spec ones as soon as you can....will firm up your front end too...help it control all that hybrid powaaahhhh
I hope for your sake ash it is the map sensor, if not it looks like turbo going back for inspection But in my honest opinion, I think the map sesnor is ok where it is after looking at tall pauls and a couple of others, I personally feel it's the turbo now mate
