Glad you've got it sorted mate:) Is it producing more torque now? Or has it not been put on the rollers yet?

As far as I'm aware it hasn't been put on the rollers again. So could be down on power, might have increased. Will has been posting quite a lot on this thread so I'm sure he can confirm as I don't honestly know what's happened as my dad had to take the car as I was at work.

All I do know is that the map sensor has been changed and my bottom arm bushes have gone.

I'll find out more when my dad gets back hopefully!

And the rest! He took the car at 7:15am this morning and still isnt back yet and it's 8:25pm now.

good to here its back home now hopefully thats the problems overwith

It's not back home yet! :(

Oh yea  :funk:

Glad its sorted.

It's not necessarily sorted yet!

Got to re-arrange the intercooler pipework tomorrow so the MAP sensor is on top of the pipework, not on the bottom collecting oil.

Brakes have arrived today!

Looks like I'll need new discs as these ones are SHAGGED. I also asked for the hoses, which they've provided but cut in half. So I'll need new hoses too. And new pads.

But here's the pics anyway!

I hope it is the MAP sensor filling with oil and you can just reposition it mate.

Me too. It just seems strange how I had the Forge cooler on for nearly a year and it didn't knacker the sensor. Now it's already having an effect on the new sensor!

Tomorrow morning I'll have to go and flip the map pipe upside down so the map sensor is at the top and clean the map sensor out. Then see what happens. If the problem continues then - I really don't know what to do.

Thats the problem when you start upping the power, other components start to fail.

Cant realy blame Will (I'm not saying you are by the way, Ash) because other components are failing.

Is the MAP sensor on the top or the bottom cooler pipe?

To fail after 2 hours of being new!?

Right - dad's just got in and spoken to me.

Will has said for me to change the position of the map sensor as at the moment, it's on the bottom of the intercooler pipework. Therefore, oil is just rolling into it. Dad has had limp mode even on the flat! Which is worse than I had before really. But that would suggest it is down to the map sensor.

Will has said to move it, try it for a few days/miles and then see what happens and report back. So first thing tomorrow morning, bumper will be off again, pipework will be flipped over and it'll be put back together again. I'll get the majority of the oil out of the sensor and hope it hasn't fooked the new sensor! :(

So - time will sort this now.
